Barbra Streisand is currently gearing up for the release of her tell-all memoir, and within it she reveals some shocking truths.
The book, which hits shelves this week, takes a look back at the legendary star’s lengthy career and her run-ins with some of Hollywood’s elite.
One particularly shocking moment Streisand recalls is her meeting with The Godfather actor Marlon Brando.
When Streisand was married to her first husband, actor Elliott Gould, she claimed that she bumped into Brando and he had some choice words for her that left her speechless.
According to Streisand, Brando walked up to her, looked her dead in the eyes and said: “I’d like to f**k you.”
Completely taken aback by his frank confession, she replied: “That sounds awful.”
At the time, Brando was also married.
After seeing her shock at his remark, Brando then apparently altered his approach and said: “Okay. Then I’d like to go to a museum with you.”
She then said that she thought it was “very romantic” and would like to do that a lot.
“He’d hit on a fantasy of mine … to walk through a museum with someone I was very attracted to and look at great art … exploring it together,” wrote the star.
Streisand said the conversation then turned to her husband, with Brando telling her: “I don’t think you’re going to be with Elliott much longer.”
“I was taken aback,” she wrote, adding that Brando claimed her husband wasn’t attractive enough for her.
“I’m married to him. What do you mean?’,” Streisand told the actor, to which he responded: “He’s not good‑looking enough for you’.”
Ultimately Brando was right ans Streisand split from Gould in 1969. She went on to marry James Brolin in 1998.

Elsewhere in the memoir, the star said that she lost her virginity to a man she had spent a few evenings with after smoking weed.
She said the unnamed gentleman was unkind to her after they made love, and immediately went back to acting like “nothing had ever happened” between the two of them.
Streisand’s is the latest in a string of celebrity memoirs that have been released recently, joining the likes of Britney Spears, John Stamos and Jada Pinkett-Smith.
