The weather gods blessed Perth ahead of British rock legends Coldplay taking the stage on Saturday night.
The band is expected to serve up a 22-song array of hits including Yellow, Paradise, The Scientist and Viva La Vida.
Support acts tonight include Adrian Dzvuke, Thelma Plum and Amy Shark who will warm up the crowd ahead of the quartet’s powerhouse concert.

Coldplay finished off the night with fan favourite ‘Fix You’ and song ‘Biutyful’ from their latest album as planets floated around the stadium.
As the band said thank you and took a bow fireworks were flying high above the crowd.
“This is one of the best nights of our lives. Thank you for reminding us that Australia is f***ing awesome,” Martin said before leaving the stage.

Starry night for ‘Sky Full of Stars’
Lights were flashing, and fireworks and confetti was flying for ‘Sky Full of Stars’.
It looked like a starry night sky as the song went on.
What made it even more special was Chris Martin asked us to get off our phones for the song.
“This will be the only time all 60,000 will be in the room at the same let’s share this moment together,” he said.

Alien joins Coldplay on stage
Fictional alien character Angel Moon joined Coldplay on stage to sing ‘Human Heart’.
Angel Moon is actually a puppet.
She features on the tracks, ‘Biutyful’, and ‘Cry, Cry, Cry’ in Coldplay’s eighth and ninth albums.
Frontman Chris Martin says they made the right decision coming to Perth
“Thank you for letting us come to Australia thank you for letting us come to WA,” Chris Martin said as he addressed the crowd.
“We did rehearsing for this show in Perth with 119 concerts so we should be almost up to your standard.”
The crowd went wild when Martin said Coldplay made the right decision coming to Perth.
“We didn’t expect you all to be so vibrant. We feel like we made the right decision by starting in Perth.”
Everyone up on their feet for Viva La Vida
It was not long before the whole crowd to be up on their foot.
All it took for people to jump up was to hear the beginning chants of Viva La Vida.
The band performed on a circle stage in the middle of the mosh.
Solar-powered wristbands light up Coldplay concert
Wristbands given out to attendees as they arrived are now lighting up the show, synchronising with the music.
They were flashing red as Coldplay played Higher Power.
The wristbands are solar-powered and recyclable as well as being made from plant-based, compostable materials.
Fans are urged to return the wristbands at the end of the night so they can be used again.
There was a tally of how well other countries did with this task with Tokyo getting 97 per cent and Buenos Aires hitting 96 per cent.
Perth treated to extended version of Paradise
Hearing Paradise live just got even better with Coldplay playing an extended version of the song.
Frontman Chris Martin sung ‘Adventure of a Lifetime’ just moments earlier with the crowd going wild.
