Carrie’s latest move months after split - news.com.au

It’s been a year of change for Carrie Bickmore after splitting with her partner of over a decade, Chris Walker, in January.

Now the star has listed her decadent $3 million Byron Bay holiday home, complete with pool and entertaining deck.

The presenter confirmed the couple’s unexpected split in an Instagram post in January, and revealed they were now moving forward to co-parent their three children.

Now, it’s been revealed Bickmore, who recently paid tribute to the late Johnny Ruffo, is unloading her property portfolio.

The former Project star’s home has been listed for sale for $3.65 million.

The 939sq metere property has previously been used as an Airbnb holiday home, boasts an array of incredible features including a hardwood deck, entertainment area and swimming pool. The stunning out door gardens also come with a fire pit area, bridge, waterfall, childrens’ swing.

Bickmore’s property also boasts five bedrooms, three bathrooms and lays on a sort-after area in one of Aussie’s most iconic beaches. Located within the Bay’s desirable “Golden Grid”, the gorgeous home also comes with a separate one bedroom studio for guests, and it’s just two minutes walk to coffee shops and cafes and a short cycle to Clarkes Beach.

Those interested in purchasing the property have until next month to register their interest, so if you’ve got a spare few million lying around then now’s your chance.

The TV presenter was pictured enjoying time in Byron Bay earlier this year, just weeks before announcing her shock decision to end her relationship after 11 years together.

Confirming her split from Walker in January, Bickmore said on Instagram: “It’s with immense sadness that Chris and I have decided to separate”.

“While this is a tough time, our focus is on parenting, loving and supporting our three children Ollie, Evie and Addie with everything we’ve got.”

It’s been a busy year for Bickmore, who was recently rumoured to be in line for a big new TV role.

The forthcoming Deal or No Deal reboot from Channel 10 is rumoured to be eyeing up Bickmore as host.

However, Bickmore reportedly isn’t the only former star of The Project with a chance to bag the job.

More Coverage

Peter Helliar. is also believed to be currently in the mix too, and is understood to come with a cheaper price tag.

Deal or No Deal is currently lined up to air at 6pm as the lead-in to The Project – with hopes those eyeballs that tune in to the game show will stay on to watch Sarah Harris, Waleed Aly, and the gang,” a source told New Idea in September.

“It’d be a win-win for the network, getting Carrie back on TV and hosting a show that could actually get people back into watching The Project – it’s sort of genius.”
