Princess Kate was spotted looking “happy, relaxed and healthy” after a shopping trip near her Adelaide Cottage home in Windsor on Saturday.
According to The Sun, an eye-witness noticed Kate and Will together at a farm shop without their royal rug rats — a sign the princess’ health is on the mend.
“After all the rumours that had been going around, I was stunned to see them there,” the onlooker said.
“Kate was out shopping with William and she looked happy and she looked well.
“The kids weren’t with them but it’s such a good sign she was healthy enough to pop down to the shops.”
Christmas Day was Kate’s most recent appearance on public duty, with her January abdominal operation having since kept her away from official engagements.
Gossip has swirled around the wellbeing of the much-publicised royal, with a recent doctored Mother’s Day snap pushing some to question her state of mind.
The princess is keen to reveal her health battle publicly, according to Palace sources, though most likely when she’s able return to public engagements.
A friend to the Palace said: “She and William are at their most open when out interacting with the public.
“I can see a world in which the Princess might discuss her recovery out on engagements.
“If she was going to do it, that’s how she would do it.
“They appreciate the public’s love and affection for their children and know there is a public appetite to see them on their birthdays.”
In another positive development, King Charles enjoyed good news over the weekend, with his cancer treatment permitting the King to return to his Highgrove home in Gloucestershire.
