Kate Middleton’s first major royal event since her surgery has been announced.
The Princess of Wales, 42, underwent the “planned major abdominal surgery” in January at the London Clinic.
The central London private hospital also treated The King while he underwent treatment for an enlarged prostate.
Kensington Palace said at the time Kate was unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter.
Now the Ministry of Defence has announced Kate will review dress rehearsal at Horse Guards Parade for the Trooping of the Colour on June 8.
Kensington Palace insiders have not confirmed her attendance.
King Charles, 75, is also slated to appear at his birthday parade a week later.
But both are expected to attend public engagements before June - with Kate likely back next month.
The statement in January read: “The Princess of Wales wishes to apologise to all those concerned for the fact that she has to postpone her upcoming engagements.
“She looks forward to reinstating as many as possible, as soon as possible.”
Kate was seen on Monday for the first time since her hospital stay.
The royal was snapped in the passenger seat as mum Carole, 69, drove her in an Audi near Windsor Castle.
She was wearing sunglasses and appeared to be smiling slightly in her first sighting since her abdominal operation.
It comes after social media was flooded with conspiracy theories over her whereabouts as whispers about her health began to swirl.
Unfounded online rumours were fuelled when Prince William unexpectedly pulled out of a memorial service last week where he was expected to give a reading.
The announcement of Kate’s first appearance follows news her uncle Gary Goldsmith slammed of Prince Harry over slurs against his niece and the Royal Family.
In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Gary insisted he could never do anything to upset “beautiful” Kate, and slammed claims against her of racism as “bull***t”.
Gary said: “I’ve spoken to Carole just to send my love and we talked about Kate given what’s going on.“There’s lots going on in the family at the moment. So she’s spinning a lot of plates right now, it’s quite stressful. So the last thing I’m going to do is bring any stress to them.”
