It is a question that has been viewed over 19 million times, and the woman whose identity is being questioned is one of the most famous women in the world, Kim Kardashian.
An X account reposted the photo that had been uploaded on Kardashian’s Instagram to her 300 million followers, and the internet was left shocked.
“AI-generated image of herself,” someone joked.
“That is Jessica Alba,” one quipped.
“That is not Kim,” one claimed
“Jennifer Lopez,” one guessed.
“This isn’t Kim Kardashian?” One asked.
The overwhelming response was that Kardashian, 43, was looking different to usual, and it wasn’t just that her hair was blonde.
Sure, fans still claimed she looked “amazing” and “ate” so badly, but people online also seemed baffled by the photo.
Interestingly, when someone posted the candid photos from the GQ Men of the Year event where the images were orginally taken, it highlighted the difference in the photos Kardashian posted on Instagram afterwards.
In the ones Kardashian posted to her social media, her skin looks impossibly smooth, her nose practically blends in with her whole face, and she looks like a real-life doll.
In the candid photo snapped at the event, she still looks beautiful, but like a normal woman with skin texture.
Kardashian, who has long been dubbed one of the most beautiful women in the world, has always been upfront about seeking perfection physically; she joked this year that she’d eat “poop every day” if it made her look younger.
Yet besides laser treatments and Botox the reality star has always maintained that her looks are natural.
In an interview with Allure, she denied getting any extensive plastic surgery done and said she’d had a “little bit of Botox” but was very chilled in her approach to actual body modifications.
