Pop singer Olivia Rodrigo has been spotted pashing actor Louis Partridge on the streets of New York City.
Rodrigo, 20, and Partridge, 20, were spotted making out in public and were all smiles as they pranced around the busy streets together.
The cute pair were both in the unofficial Generation Z uniform. You know, baggy pants, tiny sunglasses, baseball caps and chunky shoes. The couple were happy to be seen out together and were even spotted stopping to take photos with excited fans.
They aren’t the most obvious Hollywood couple; Rodrigo comes from the Disney channel machine and got her start on the High School Musical series but has since become a pop force, writing break-up bangers to critical acclaim and commercial success.
Meanwhile, Partridge is from the UK and hasn’t quite hit that mainstream sweet spot yet, but he might be on the verge.
The young star is building a career for himself by starring in movies like Enola Holmes and nabbing a vital role in the British miniseries Pistol.
Still, the two have clearly hit it off and aren’t being secretive about their relationship; in fact, they’ve gone full Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker and laid on the public PDA.
This is the first time Rodrigo has gone official with a man since she became so famous.
Her last well-known relationship was with her Disney co-star Joshua Bassett, he was rumoured to have inspired her breakout hit Driver’s License that, took 2021 by storm and turned her into a pop princess.
It also launched thousands of conspiracy theories about a Generation Z love triangle. In it, she sings about an ex ending up with some “blonde girl” after the break-up that she’d always been “insecure” about.
People online have long theorised the lyrics must be about Sabrina Carpenter because she dated Bassett directly after Rodrigo did, and she’s blonde.
This meant that when Driver’s License went viral, Carpenter got relentlessly trolled online because of it.
In 2022, Carpenter addressed the backlash in her song All Because I Liked a Boy, which also became a hit and included some very pointed lyrics.
“Now I’m a homewrecker, I’m a slut. I got death threats filling’ up semi-trucks. I’m the hot topic on your tongue. I’m a rebound getting around, stealing from the young.”

Rodrigo has never officially confirmed who the song was about and toldBillboard that while she under people’s “curiosity”, it wouldn’t be a question she ever answered.
“I totally understand people’s curiosity with the specifics of who the song’s about and what it’s about, but to me, that’s really the least important part of the song. It’s resonating with people because of how emotional it is, and I think everything else is not important.”
Since then, Rodrigo has been linked to music executive Zach Bia and music producer Adam Faze, but she’s never gone so public with someone until now.
