The actress, who played Hugh Grant’s romantic interest in Christmas rom com Love Actually, underwent a lifestyle change in 2021, revealing she lost over 6kg using the Cambridge Weight Plan.

She said at the time that her journey was “a tiny bit slower than the average person” because of health battles with Lyme disease, chronic fatigue syndrome ME and fibromyalgia.

Since then, the mum-of-one has been treating Instagram followers to pictures of her new look.

Just before her 45th birthday, the singer and actress told The Sun she feels sexier than ever and has more confidence than she did at the height of her fame decades ago.

She said, “I’m feeling so much more fulfilled, confident and sexy than I ever did in my twenties.

“What’s amazing is looking at people like Jennifer Lopez and Helen Mirren, who are ageing and yet their careers are still going strong. They’ve got this inner glow.

“People always thought I was really confident, but it was a good act. Genuine confidence took time for me.”

McCutcheon starred in EastEnders from 1995 to 1998, before blasting her way into the pop world with her 1999 number 1 single Perfect Moment.

She also won an Olivier Award in 2002 for her role as Eliza Doolittle in West End musical My Fair Lady, and the following year she starred in Love Actually.
