One of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has responded to speculation that her good friend Holly Valance is set to join the show.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Crystal Kung Minkoff has shut down rumours Holly Valance aka Holly Candy is joining the new season.
The 36-year-old told the Unpopular podcast this week there was no truth to the speculation, but said her good friend would be a great addition to the show.
“She’s a big fan of the show,” Minkoff said about Valance.
“You never know [if she’d do it one day]. She’s an actress, right? She’s used to being in front of the cameras and stuff like that,” she said. “So maybe she would [join RHOBH eventually] … but to be totally honest I haven’t heard any of that other than reading it.
“It would be fun because it would be nice to have someone my age, and someone who I really know, [who has] young kids. She’s funny,’ Minkoff said.
The former Neighbours star married billionaire property developer Nick Candy in Beverly Hills in 2012 but now lives in London so her involvement in the show would probably require a move.
The internet went into a frenzy this week as rumours swirled that Valance would join the popular reality show.
There was speculation was that she would be introduced on the show as a friend of current cast member Dorit Kemsley.
Melbourne-born Valance shot to fame as a teenager on Neighbours before leaving to launch
a music career. Her first song, Kiss Kiss, topped the charts but she soon abandoned singing and set her sights on Hollywood.
She played Liam Neeson’s daughter in Taken and did guest spots on CSI and Prison Break.
However she has remained largely out of the spotlight since she married Candy in 2012.
