Tanya and Georgia’s ongoing feud has reached new heights — with a room reveal twist hinting things are set to go from bad to worse this week.
The situation between sparring Block contestants Tanya and Georgia took a turn on Monday night, with Georgia stooping to a new low in an attempt to sabotage her nemesis in the cul-de-sac.
While ‘cheating’ couple Tanya and Vito have far from endeared themselves to their fellow contestants since The Block production schedule scandal earlier this season, it was Georgia’s time to play dirty during Monday’s episode.
On discovering that a shipment of Tanya and Vito’s furniture had been delivered to the wrong house, Georgia had them dumped dangerously close to a skip bin on the road with a sign reading, “Free to good honest home”.
But while the move narrowly avoided another fiery outburst on the building site, the night’s room reveals saw another twist when Ronnie and Georgia’s bonus point gnome was put into play.
Earlier in the day, a furious Georgia was heard grumbling to her builders: “We’ve got the builders wanting to construct our garage, and they actually need that space.
“They’re gonna figure out their furniture’s not here, they should go looking for it, should they not?,” she added, refusing to let them know their boxes had wound up in the wrong place.
“How have you not already started looking for it, it’s Saturday? They should’ve looked for it yesterday,” she added in a huff.
“Chuck all their stuff on the verge somewhere,” she instructed her tradies, fashioning a sign that read, “Free to a good honest home”.
“What irritates me is you’re fake as f*ck,” she ranted elsewhere, echoing remarks she’s made in earlier episodes.
“Don’t be nice to me if you don’t like me … It’s disingenuous and fake.”
While neighbour Mark convinced Georgia to remove the petty sign, Tanya was not impressed when she eventually located the missing pieces on the road.
With resolve between the couples looking far from possible, when it came to room reveals, Ronnie and Georgia decided to play their one point gnome to beat Tanya and Vito, who delivered their first winning room with a retro sunken lounge.
However, they ended up tying with their competitors — meaning all four will be heading on an excruciatingly awkward winner’s getaway together this week and splitting the cash 50/50.
