We’re just three episodes into Celebrity Apprentice, and already the celebrities are revolting.
Musical duo The Veronicas have today taken the bold step of publicly tweeting at the reality show’s official Twitter account, accusing them of giving the contestants “scripted drama” and selectively editing the show to make them look bad.
“Celeb Apprentice, why are you not airing any of our wins & strategy for each task, only using the scripted drama you GAVE us as the only airtime /promo? Where’s all the footage where we pull through for our team /and for our charity? Why is all of that being edited out?” the sisters wrote.

No response from Celebrity Apprentice’s Twitter account yet, although one suspects “because this is a reality show” would be the obvious answer. Veronicas fans have rallied around the pair.
“Give our girls the bad edit and we are gonna be out for blood,” wrote fellow singer Kira Piru in a response to their tweet.
“You are being portrayed as the evil villains – the true joy of reality TV television. The producers do whatever they like to create a storyline,” wrote another fan.
They’re doing you dirty and it’s so undeserved. Honesty IS entertaining, Celeb Apprentice,” said another.
The sisters previously asked their fans to “use common sense” when watching the show, after its debut episode appeared to show a fiery argument between them.
“My patience is getting thin, so if you know what needs to be said please say it,” Jess told Lisa in the episode, prompting her sister to declare: “You’re being a bit much.”
The duo released a statement after the episode aired, writing: “We can’t believe we actually need to preface this: But reality TV is highly edited out of ‘context’ to amplify drama. And narrative that suits the agenda. Please use common sense and understand this is obviously not a transparent show – it’s game show entertainment.

“The only ‘business’ in this show is the business of entertainment and drama … don’t get confused about what this is. And we will continue to bring you the laughs and relatability.”
The musical siblings are no strangers to a social media spat, having famously feuded online with the airline QANTAS, Jess’ ex-partner Ruby Rose, and each other.
They’re also no strangers to reality television, having previously starred in the fly-on-the-wall docuseries The Veronicas: Blood Is for Life.
