TV icon Kerri-Anne Kennerley has posted a sweet tribute to her mother after the 99-year-old passed away this morning.
Kerri-Anne, 67, confirmed the sad family news on Instagram today, sharing a video of her mum Grace dancing to Meghan Trainor’s All About That Bass.
“This morning we lost our beautiful dancing queen, always elegant and graceful. She is now up there dancing with dad and John. We will always love you Mum,” she wrote.
Grace was a few months short of her 100th birthday in September.

The announcement has been met with a flood of condolences from her celebrity friends.
Comedian Julia Morris wrote: “Am so very sorry for your loss. What a guiding light. Love jx”
Sylvia Jeffreys added: “I’m so sorry for your family’s loss. What a treasured memory this will always be. Very special. Lots of love to you xx.”
While Sally Obermeder said: “Oh KAK. I am so so sorry. Her light shined so bright. Sending you so much love.”
“But what a full dance card she enjoyed. Sending love to you and your sis. Xxx,” Kylie Gillies wrote.
Charismatic “dancing queen” Grace has long featured on Kerri-Anne’s Instagram page, with the former Studio 10 star regularly posting photos and videos of them together.
Last September, she posted a video of Grace requesting a vodka and orange juice in bed.
“Celebrating my fabulous mum’s 99th birthday today,” she captioned the video.
“Ringing in the new year with my dancing queen mum and beautiful husband John,” she said beneath another photo featuring her late husband and mum celebrating New Year’s Eve in 2018.

Kerri-Anne’s husband John died in February 2019, aged 78, after a serious fall at a Coffs Harbour golf course in March 2016 that left him paralysed from the neck down. In a freak accident, he had slipped from a balcony, landing on his head and back.
“John passed away peacefully with his son Simon and me by his side,” Kerri-Anne shared when he passed.
“John, you were the love of my life.”
Speaking on Studio 10 about the tragedy, she said: “It was a shock because I thought I would really have John for many, many, many years to come and a lot of things happened very quickly so it was a terrible shock.”
