Billie Eilish reveals she went on a first date in new video for British Vogue - NEWS.com.au

After years of remaining tight-lipped on her dating life, 19-year-old superstar Billie Eilish dished some details on her romantic prospects in a video for British Vogue’s June issue, revealing she went on a date for the “first time” just the day before.

In the video, the record-smashing Grammy winner answers a range of questions from 23 “famous fans”.

Around the 1:45 mark, musician and close pal Dominic Fike asked the singer to share the last time she did something for the first time.

“Yikes. The answer is really explicit, so I’m not going to answer with that,” Eilish joked, continuing, “I went on a date for the first time yesterday, so there you go.”

The singer cheekily added that “there are things” she could say as a response to Fike’s question, but added that they’re “just for in here,” pointing to her head.

While she didn’t name names in the clip, Eilish has been linked to actor Matthew Tyler Vorce after they were spotted spending time together in April.

According to Elle, both her mother and collaborator brother Finneas O’Connell, follow Vorce’s private Instagram account.

Eilish previously dated rapper 7: AMP, real name is Brandon Quention Adams, as featured in Eilish’s Apple TV+ documentary, The World’s a Little Blurry.

The singer revealed in the documentary that she “just wasn’t happy” with Adams in the end, with the pair splitting in June 2019.

In the written component of her Vogue feature, Eilish revealed she was taken advantage of when she was younger – while insisting that abuse of minors is “everywhere.”

The pop star told the magazine her new single, Your Power, is “an open letter to people who take advantage – mostly men”.

Eilish didn’t elaborate or identify her own abuser, begging fans to “not just try to figure out who I’m talking about” in the song.

“Because it’s not about that … It’s really not at all about one person,” she told the UK mag of the “anger and disappointment and frustration” in her latest songs.

“You might think, ‘It’s because she’s in the music industry’ – no, dude. It’s everywhere,” she said, revealing that her own abuser was not a music industry figure.

This week, her sizzling cover shoot took the world by storm, with the singer serving a look like nothing fans have seen before.

The edition features snaps of the typically tomboy Bad Guy singer with blonde hair a la Marilyn Monroe in a pink and beige lingerie get-up.

“It’s all about what makes you feel good,” the teen told Vogue – which described Eilish as a longtime fan of 1940s and ’50s pin-up sexpots and said the idea for the cover was hers.

Eilish posted the photo of the cover on her own Instagram page – which has 83 million followers. It surpassed one million likes in just six minutes, a record-breaking time for the platform.
