Firass Dirani’s rebellious behaviour has been a major storyline on SAS Australia but not all of it is being shown to viewers, a co-star has said.
Eden Dally, who quit the show in last night’s episode, told news.com.au that Dirani angered chief instructor Ant Middleton during the rope crawl challenge – which wasn’t shown on TV.
The Love Island star explained that the celebrity recruits were sitting on rocks waiting to attempt the challenge.

When it was Dirani’s turn, Middleton told the actor to hurry up and walk to the other side of the rocky chasm so he could attempt the rope crawl.
“Firass was going slow and Ant told him to move faster,” Dally said. “When he said that, Firass was a bit of a smarta**e and started walking really, really slow. He literally just started walking in slow motion.
“He got in big sh*t,” Dally told news.com.au, with Middleton telling Dirani to do squats until all the recruits had finished the challenge.
“If he didn’t do the squats properly they were going to make Honey Badger join him,” Dally said.
“Firass didn’t really care (about being punished). I think he enjoyed the villain part, being the bad guy.”
Dirani may not have cared about being punished, but the fellow recruits were less than impressed with his behaviour.
“He was a bit of a smarta**e and I think that’s why everyone was a bit off him,” Dally said. “Every time he did something bad, acting like a clown, it got everyone in trouble.
“It was already tough and he made it tougher by doing stupid things.”

CELEBRITIES ASKED DIRANI TO QUIT
Several SAS Australia contestants have spoken out about Dirani’s behaviour, with former Biggest Loser trainer Shannan Ponton telling news.com.au the actor behaved like a “sociopath”.
It got so bad that he asked Dirani to quit.
“I just said straight out, ‘Listen mate, you’re being a pain in the a**e. Your time on this course is adversely affecting mine and everyone else’s. If you have any integrity, I think it’s probably best that you hand your badge in,’” Ponton said.
Dirani refused.
Speaking to Kyle and Jackie O last week, Dirani revealed that wasn’t the only time one of his co-stars asked him to leave.
“They do another little intervention and they wanna vote me out,” the actor told the radio hosts. “They actually go to Ant and they’re like, ‘We’ve come to the conclusion that we want number 11 out.’ Ant’s like, ‘This is not the show, you can’t just vote someone out. Why are you voting someone out? Go back, mate.’”

DIRANI CLAIMS SAS INSTRUCTORS TRICKED HIM
Speaking to Kyle and Jackie O on KIIS FM last week, Dirani claimed that on at least one occasion he was “stitched up” by Middleton and was made to look bad in front of the group.
“The way the show is structured is sometimes these guys just stitch you up,” he said about the instructors. “I’d be walking behind Ant Middleton and he was jumping from one stone to another and I was doing the same thing … I said to him, ‘I like to challenge myself.’ And he’s like, ‘Well don’t worry about that, we’re going to be challenging you later on.’ I said, ‘I hope so,’ and that was off camera between us two.”
Dirani said Middleton later brought that up in front of the other recruits who were punished as a result for the smarta**e comment.
“That was how it was curated,” Dirani said.
