Married At First Sight star Dino Hira shocks fans with dramatic transformation - NEWS.com.au

Married at First Sight star Dino Hira has dumped his clean-cut image for a new look in this dramatic transformation.

Hira was paired with Melissa Lucarelli on Married At First Sight in 2019 and has since undergone a totally new makeover.

The 36-year-old looks almost unrecognisable with a thick beard and toned body. Some fans were even wondering if it was the same person.

“Wow what a change …” one fan wrote.

“Geez looks nothing like him,” said another.

“Surely that’s not him,” a third fan commented.

The star even spoke to The Wash about his new look.

“People got to see my patience at the MAFS dinner parties but having a beard now is the ultimate proof of patience.

“A man with no moustache or beard is like a woman with a moustache or beard.”

Hira works as a meditation coach in Hong Kong and has admitted that he has found love while living overseas.

“I’m seeing someone here so see when it gets real, you will be invited to the real wedding.”

Hira did not reveal who the mystery woman was.

His new look comes only days after his Married At First Sight bride Lucarelli debuted her own transformation on social media.

The 38-year-old, who now works as a professional influencer, has completely glammed up her look. The star has visibly plumper lips and lusciously styled hair.

Lucarelli debuted her brand new makeover while attending a charity lunch in Sydney this week.

The influencer has previously tagged cosmetics clinics in some of her Instagram posts.

Earlier this month, Nine teased the new season of Married At First Sight in a promo.

In the reel, one of the grooms that appears is former AFL player Jake Edwards.

The 32-year-old, who once played for Melbourne’s Carlton Football Club, was spotted in Sydney in October on the set of MAFS.

The former sportsman has recently turned his Instagram account private, a prerequisite of being on the show.

Another familiar face came in the form of Hit 104.7 radio presenter Bryce Ruthven, who was also spotted in the trailer. Ruthven reportedly ended his engagement to a woman earlier this year.

Make Them Suffer singer and keyboardist Booka Nile was also spotted in the trailer.

There were of course many unfamiliar faces in the teaser for the upcoming marital show, including a brunette curly-haired woman who is spotted giggling as she walks down the aisle, toward a mystery man with a moustache.

Other confirmed contestants who will take part in the upcoming season include former police officer-turned-Pilates instructor Connie ‘Coco’ Stedman, Brisbane theatre star Johnny Balbuziente, Melbourne businessman James Susler and Brisbane native Jason Engler.
