It’s been over a year since the wild last season of Married At First Sight left our screens, and the stars from the show are getting increasingly harder to recognise.
Ivan Sarakula — who was paired with Aleks Markovic in season 7 and memorably refused to disclose whether they’d been “intimate” to the experts — has undergone quite the transformation.
The clean-cut real estate agent has grown out his hair considerably and seems to have invested in a new wardrobe, departing from his signature preppy style for which he became known on the show.

Meanwhile, his ex “wife” Aleks has altered her look as well, having dropped an estimated 9kgs since the show ended and dyed her hair lighter.
Flaunting her weight loss on Instagram in April, Aleks revealed she changed her lifestyle and diet ‘dramatically’ following her split from Ivan.
“I actually eat vegan now, with a bit of fish on the side. So you could call it pescetarian. Yeah, I’ve changed my diet dramatically, and I don’t really like working out so I never workout. That’s it,” she said.

While she made it clear she won’t be hitting the gym any time soon, she said she keeps fit by dancing.
Aleks and Ivan maintained a relationship outside the show, reconciling off-camera in early January, only to break up for good a month later.
They’re not the only two MAFS alum changing it up.
This week, Dino Hara was pictured having dumped his clean-cut image for a new look, too.
The 36-year-old looks equally unrecognisable with a thick beard and toned body. Some fans were even wondering if it was the same person.
And earlier this month, fellow 2019 MAFS contestant Sam Ball returned to Instagram after 6 months looking very different indeed.
In his first photo since May, the controversial contestant showcased his fully shaven, bald head.
“If you see me less, I’m doing more,” the contestant from season six wrote as the Instagram caption.
