Channel 9’s Weekend Today host Lauren Phillips has been blasted by her ex-husband Lachlan Spark once again, after berating her and their marriage pretty publicly last week.
Speaking to theHerald Sun, Spark addressed rumours of a list of demands he allegedly gave her to make their marriage work, one of which was apparently asking her to lose weight.
The former TV producers claimed that it wasn’t so much a list of demands, but a “framework” of changes, where he had asked the 39-year-old to be more “active”.
“I said for it to work some changes had to be made,” he told the publication, before slamming claims he’d ever asked her to “lose weight”.
“Help out around the house, lift a little bit, I told her, and I regret framing it the way I did, but I said I’m more attracted to people when they are active because I’m an active person.”
The claims echo exactly what he wrote in the explosive Instagram post last week, where he said he wanted “more substance” from their marriage.
“I could have stuck around for 20 years, but it would have all been on Lauren’s terms. Her terms are fine if you are happy with that lifestyle,” he added.

Phillips and Spark ended their relationship in 2018, after only one year of marriage.
In the post, he accused Phillips of “caring more about herself during their relationship”.
He even stated that he “wasted” years of his life with her.
The post was also a way to debut his new girlfriend Courtney Wynbergen, who he said has “changed his world”.
“A while ago, I married a girl who cared much more about herself and how she was perceived than she did about me,” Spark wrote.
“It was a lot … too much, actually. I left and despite losing almost every friend I’d found over seven years (and a few other ‘best mates’ for good measure) in the blink of an eye, it was the best thing I’ve ever done.
“Approaching 40, I was more than a bit nervous I’d wasted a big chunk of my life with the wrong person, and that I was long odds to find anyone who was willing (or able) to give me the love I knew I deserved.
“I truly believed there was more to a relationship (and life) than skin-deep friends, free holidays and Instagram followers – I just needed to find it.”

He added: “And then, by sheer dumb luck, I ran into this girl, and my world changed. She’s the most considerate and understanding person I’ve ever known. She’s a risk taker and a rebel. She’s passionate, and she’s a fighter. She’s as sharp as a whip and she takes no prisoners.
“She’s loyal AF. She knows what it means to try. She doesn’t give a f**k what people think of her. And she knows how to love me like I’ve never been loved before.
“@courtswyn, you’re complex, complicated, deep, fierce, and utterly magnificent. Anything (and everything) but vanilla. I love you.”
In March 2019, Lauren opened up about their split. She said they were on good terms and even attended a friend’s wedding in Byron Bay together.
“It’s been a hectic few months trying to find my feet and I suppose trying to get my confidence back again,” Lauren told The Daily Telegraph at the time.
“I think often when you’re going through a difficult time people rally around you and that’s what I’ve done.”
She added: “Lachie and I are still on really great terms. We just went to a wedding in Byron Bay. People go through difficult times and we made a promise to be there for each other.”
It is now rumoured that Lauren is dating multi-millionaire jet tycoon Paul O’Brien, the ex-boyfriend of Sam Armytage.
