The ex-wife of former Today weatherman Steve Jacobs, Rosie Jacobs, has shared her appreciation for her new man amid a tumultuous year.
On Saturday, the 41-year-old posted a photo with her boyfriend of 11 months, Alex Daly, along with a gushing caption.
“Feeling deep gratitude for my beautiful man who has stood by me through thick and thin this year,” she wrote to fans in a photo of the duo smiling by the ocean in Byron Bay.
“Ever calm, always inspiring me to be the best person I can be. I’ve never known happiness like this, when it’s unconditional, equal and real,” she added of Alex, with whom she went public in October.

It’s been a tumultuous year for Rosie, who went through a messy split with ex AFL star Matthew Shir in January.
Shir recently admitted assaulting Jacobs in her $1.56 million home at Bronte in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
Details of the incident were revealed at Sydney’s Downing Centre Local Court in September.
Shir, 39, escaped conviction for assaulting Rosie Jacobs when he drunkenly scaled a fence to enter her second-floor apartment through the balcony before repeatedly attempting to cuddle her on January 10.
It came as the couple’s on-again-off-again relationship was “clearly disintegrating”, Magistrate Michael Allen said in October.
He found Shir had imparted “no actual violence” on Ms Jacobs, 41, the ex of former Today Show weatherman Mr Jacobs.

The one-time Adelaide Crow had pleaded guilty to common assault and recklessly damaging property, related to a security screen he had stepped on while climbing to the balcony.
Shir went to Ms Jacobs’ Bronte home about 11.30pm after a night drinking with work friends and decided to try a different entry when he was unable to go through the front door due to a chain lock.
After banging on the balcony’s sliding doors he entered the unit, took his shirt off and got into bed with his then ex-partner who earlier that day sent him an email demanding he return his key and saying: “you do not have permission to contact me”.
“It’s over, you’re not welcome. I want you to leave immediately,” she said as he tried to pull her toward him and put his arms around her torso.
“You’re not allowed to touch me.”
Later after he followed her into the kitchen, Shir said: “I just want to be in bed with you … I’ll leave tomorrow I swear”.
He left when a neighbour was called to Ms Jacobs’ aid and she dialled triple-0. Shir was arrested at his home in Bondi about 2.30am.

In 2017, the former TV presenter relocated from Sydney to Vanuatu in 2017 with her then-husband, former Channel 9 star Steve Jacobs, in a ‘last-ditch’ attempt to save their marriage.
Recently, Rosie revealed she was battling a health issue which had caused her appearance to change quite dramatically, to the surprise of her followers.
In September, she told news.com.au she cut her long brunette hair after contracting dengue fever in Vanuatu, adding that having the chop amid a journey of self-discovery following her breakup was “liberating”.
“The reason I cut my hair initially was that I actually had a health situation which most people don’t know about,” the mother-of-two revealed.
“I’ve (also) gone through some major life changes in the last couple of years, from moving country and going through a marriage breakdown, so I guess we as women can sometimes express our emotions outwardly with a haircut.
“I know so many women who have a break-up and then have a haircut. It can signify that you are going through a personal reinvention and finding a new sense of identity.”
Since she’s been rocking the pixie cut, she said she’s never felt better.
