Former Married At First Sight star Martha Kalifatidis has revealed which two major reality shows she was offered a role on.
Martha rose to fame on MAFS in 2019 and is still in a relationship with her ‘husband’ Michael Brunelli.
She is set to make her reality TV comeback next year on Channel 9’s Celebrity Apprentice, but as she revealed to KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O this morning, she could have starred on other shows if she’d wanted to.
“I’ve been asked to do I’m A Celeb,” Martha said. She chose to reject the offer on the advice of her manager.
“My management was like, ‘They’re just going to pick on you. You’ll be the beauty girl, they’ll just put you under a magnifying glass,’” Martha said.
She was also asked by Channel 7 to be on another reality show, Martha claimed.
“I was asked to do Big Brother,” she said.
“Are they doing a celebrity version?” Jackie O asked.
“No, just the regular version (that aired this year),” Martha said.
Kyle and Jackie O also asked Martha which of her Celebrity Apprentice co-stars she likes the least.
The show is being filmed now but won’t hit screens until next year.
Appearing on the show are: The Veronicas, Ross Noble, Shaynna Blaze, David Genat, Rob Shehadie, Camilla Franks, Anthony Callea, Alex Hayes, Michelle Bridges, Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli and Olivia Vivian.
“There is the one person who has unfollowed me,” Martha said on radio today. “Anthony Callea.”
“I knew it!” Jackie O yelled. “I knew there’d be something weird going on between you two.”
Going into detail, Martha said, “He’s not into me at all.
“When it comes down to it, I just feel like you can’t take anything personally that happens on this show,” Martha said. “It’s a show; we’re making TV. You say things and do things and you have an on-screen persona and then as soon as the camera stops rolling we’re all friends.
“Anthony took it personally,” Martha said.
