Actor Charlie Hunnam had a virtual interview with Jimmy Kimmel Live recently, promoting his latest project Jungleland.
During the interview, the 40-year-old actor revealed that he had contracted COVID-19 “very early on” in the pandemic. However, he did explain that his experience was not too severe.

He also revealed that he is experiencing “a little bit of a persistent fever, dry cough, a little bit of fatigue” claiming that it “could” be the virus once again.
“I’m not sure what I have. I have a little bit of a persistent fever, a dry cough, a little bit of fatigue, so … it could be COVID,” he explained.
However, he did explain how he “went and had a test earlier this week, a rapid test, and it came back negative.”
“So I could just be unfairly jumping to conclusions. But it feels consistent.”

The actor joked that he could be a “hypochondriac” with the talk show host, and the actor explained how the past diagnoses differs from what he was feeling now.
“I had it earlier this year, and it didn’t feel like this,” he admitted, before listing the symptoms he had when diagnosed.
“It wasn’t particularly acute, I just lost my sense of taste and smell for about 10 days, and had a little bit of fatigue. This feels very, very different. This feels much more like flu.”
At the time, he wasn’t aware of some of the symptoms being COVID related, like “sense of taste and smell” had not “really come to light as symptoms of mild COVID.”
“I don’t know how I would have gotten sick, again, because I have not left the house in six months, other than to take my new cat to the vet,” he explained.
“Whether I just have a cold or flu or something, the only time I’ve ever been in any sort of contact with the outside world was taking her to the vet, and it turns out what she has is feline coronavirus.”
The actor did note how it would be ironic for him to contract the virus again, as he is a notorious “germaphobe” who is constantly washing his hands.
“If there is something floating around, I’m gonna get it. And I think it’s because I am such a germaphobe! I just have a very weak immune system,” he said.
Meanwhile, Khloe Kardashian also revealed that she had contracted the virus earlier this year also.
The 36-year-old star seemed to have fallen ill in March, after attending best friend Malika Haqq’s babymoon at a casino near Palm Springs, California.

Her diagnosis was revealed in a teaser for Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
“I just found out that I do have corona, I have been in my room … it was really bad for a couple of days, vomiting and shaking and hot and cold,” Khloe said from bed.
“I suffer from migraines but this was the craziest headache, I wouldn’t say it was a migraine,” the star added.
“The coughing – my chest would burn when I coughed. My throat is still not fully recovered clearly, let me tell you that s**t is real but we are all going to get through this.
“I pray if we follow orders and listen we’re all going to be OK. May God bless us all.”
