Kevin Costner has walked the red carpet with almost his entire brood, with the remarkable age differences between his children clearly on show.
The actor, 69, arrived at the Cannes Film Festival in the south of France with five of his seven children on Monday.
The proud dad posed on the red carpet alongside his two eldest daughters and his three youngest children, with all of his offspring bearing a striking resemblance to him.
The vast age range between the kids is notable; his eldest daughter is in her 40s and his youngest is freshly 13.
So how does Costner have so many kids, and how did such age gaps happen?
Well, it’s simply a case of multiple marriages and the fact that men, unlike women, don’t age out of being able to have children.
The Yellowstone star shares his daughters Annie, 40, and Lily, 37, with his ex-wife Cindy Silva.
He also has a son, Joe, 36, with Silva, but he didn’t attend the star-studded event.
After calling it quits with Silva in 1994, Costner briefly was single but then hooked up with Bridget Rooney in 1996.
Rooney went on to marry billionaire Bill Koch, but during their brief relationship, they had a son together, Liam, 28, born in 1996.
Costner and Rooney broke up, and then he married designer Christine Baumgartner in 2004. They had three children together: Cayden, 17, Hayes, 15, and Grace, 13.
Baumgartner and Costner announced they were divorcing in May 2023.
Ex-wives aside, Costner decided to turn his trip to France into a family vacation, and almost his entire gang turned up.
Costner was at Cannes to celebrate the premiere of his film Horizon: an American Saga, which also stars Australia’s Sam Worthington and British star Sienna Miller.
He cast his son Hayes in a small part in the film, but he told Entertainment Tonight that the 15-year-old had nailed it.
“I captured him and I brought him on, and he’s very good in this small part that he’s done,” he said.
Costner added that he knew so many young actors would kill to be part of such a big movie, but he was glad he included his son.
“I wanted him close and so I did it. So we’re locked together in a film forever,” he said.

The western film earned a 10-minute standing ovation at the festival, and Costner, who has sunk some of his own funds into it, looked emotional as he thanked the crowd for their support.
“Such good people,” he said afterwards.
“Such a good moment, not just for me, but for the actors that came with me, for people who believed in me who continued to work. It’s a funny business, and I’m so glad I found it. “There’s no place like here. I’ll never forget this either will my children.”
