Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor’s daughter Ella has graduated from university, and she looks nothing like her famous dad.
The blonde offspring instead takes after her mum; she’s blonde, gorgeous and has Scarlett Johansson vibes.
Ella, 22, recently revealed to her 7,000 Instagram followers that she graduated from New York City’s prestigious performing arts school, Juilliard.
She graduated with a degree in fine arts, majoring in the family business of acting.
Her grandparents on her dad’s side, Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara, were also both successful comedy actors.
Ella’s dad, Ben, is known for his hugely successful comedy career, with his biggest hits including the comedies Zoolander and Tropic Thunder.
Her mum, Christine, is also a working actor but never secured the A-list success that Ben managed to score.
Ella’s not doing the typical nepotism thing of just randomly getting a major role in a movie an has instead been studying away.
She wrote on Instagram that she got a “playing pretend” degree and thanked her family for their unwavering support.
“I couldn’t be happier to be done or prouder to have survived or more grateful to my family for the unwavering support that got me there and through,” she wrote online.
On social media, she describes herself as a natural blonde if you “ignore the roots” and posts pretty typical stuff you’d expect from anyone in their early 20s.
She posts many photos of herself hanging out with friends, including one from a dress-up party where she dressed as Reese Witherspoon’s character, Elle Woods, from Legally Blonde.
The budding actor also posted about attending Taylor Swift’s sold-out Eras Tour, and there are plenty of stunning and slightly pouty selfies - the usual stuff you’d expect from a young person.
More Coverage
Ella is pretty close to her famous dad, even posting a photo of them together to celebrate her graduation, but in 2022, Ben opened up to Esquire about the parenting mistake she called him out on.
“She’s pretty articulate about it, and sometimes it’s stuff that I don’t want to hear. It’s hard to hear. Because it’s me not being there in the ways that I saw my parents not being there. And I had always thought, ‘well I won’t do that’,” he admitted.
Stiller added that a big lesson he’d learned in fatherhood is that “your kids are not keeping score on your career”.
