Taylor Swift will take to the stage for the second night of her Australian Eras Tour leg after performing in front of the biggest crowd of her career in Melbourne on Friday night.

One lucky nine-year-old fan was plucked from the 96,000 crowd last night and ushered to the stage.

Milana told 9News she was given a guitar pick and a signed felt hat.

She gave Swift a friendship bracelet in return.

"(I'm) pretty emotional this was my first ever concert," Milana said.

Optus estimates its customers uploaded close to 500,000 photos at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) last night.

On Friday, the 34-year-old wasted no time in delighting fans by appearing on stage earlier than expected.

"I have to be honest with you about something, this is the biggest show we have ever performed on The Eras Tour or any tour ever," she told the crowd on Friday night.

"If I seem a little bit like I'm losing my mind over the 96,000 of you, that's because it's true, I am."

For three hours Swift entertained fans through each of her musical eras.

Her new album The Tortured Poets Department is due to be released on April 19.
