Instagram model Sydney Chase has finally confirmed she received Tristan Thompson’s cease-and-desist letter — but took to her favourite platform Wednesday to state that she won’t be acquiescing to Thompson lawyer Marty Singer’s missive.
“I finally received the cease & desist hours after I made my post online,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “It was first sent to an email I no longer use. However, I’m moving forward with the truth & am choosing not to comply.
“I will not be called a liar,” she concluded.
When asked by Page Six if she had any evidence of their alleged affair, Chase said, “Yes, I obviously do but this is now a legal matter that lawyers will handle. Thanks.”
It’s unclear if she’s hired an lawyer.

As Page Six exclusively reported, 30-year-old Thompson sent Chase and the No Jumper podcast the threatening letter, prompting the podcast to remove the segment in which Chase claimed she slept with the Boston Celtics player in January, while he was “on” with his on-again-off-again partner Khloé Kardashian.
Chase, 23, denied numerous times she’d gotten the cease-and-desist — despite the fact that Page Six obtained proof that she had, in fact, received the letters.
“I did not receive anything,” Chase had exclusively told Page Six. “I didn’t receive anything because I’m telling the truth.”

The document demands Chase hand over any alleged text messages between her and Thompson but casts doubt she would let Thompson’s team “review any purported texts since our examination of the texts would confirm that they are a sham.”
A source close to Thompson told Page Six that Chase seems to be revelling in the attention from her claims, launching a money-making OnlyFans account and allegedly pitching a reality series to the Zeus Network after her viral interview.
She also began sharing screenshots of her rising social media statistics as a way to secure more paid sponsorships.
