Following on from Monday’s unmasking of Christine Anu – who was guessed by everyone in Australia bar the judging panel – Noonan left the competition to embarrassed judges, who couldn’t pick her voice from beneath the mask either.
Throughout the episode, they had locked in guesses of Mahalia Barnes and Sia – certain it was indeed a professional musician.
As Noonan, formerly of Aussie rock band George, unmasked, Hughesy shook his head, sheepishly admitting he’s a huge fan.
So far, cricketing legend Michael Bevan has been revealed, with international sporting legend Mark Philippoussis unmasked during the season premiere.

Updates
I mean, we're not saying they should be, but we did predict it in week one…
That wraps up another night of the wackiest show on telly.
Catch you next time, folks!
Firstly, how?!
But more importantly: WHO?
….
IT'S KATIE NOONAN! YOU GUESSED IT PLAYERS!
"It's amazing what a cactus can achieve in life. I've met royalty.
"In fact, where I come from, my family almost IS royalty.
"We've had many titles through history but I trod my own path, coming from the north. Just like Santa, who I love. No-one can hold a candle to him.
"Climbing the ladder of success in my game is hard. I'm always afraid I'm going to fall. And there's always someone else who wants my role in the team.
"You just have to hold on to your dream as hard as you can."
Following the "clues", Jackie utters "That did not help me at all". We feel you.
A fun, bouncy rendition of Icona Pop's I Love It follows, complete with a team of wacky dancing lips (our music festival outfit inspo when Covid permits).
She later offers another cryptic clue, leaving us as perplexed as we started: "In many ways, I have old-fashioned values. But at times, I've been modern all the way through."
It could be… literally anyone.
Kitten's clue package tells us: "I'm a kitten covered in candy.
"I'm sweet like an angel, until I'm not.
"My early career was unforgettable.
"I guess that's why I was on meds.
"I felt cold for a long time, even when I was supposed to feel fabulous.
"Breaks always came when I least expected it. But I really hit the jackpot in Vegas.
"I don't always know where I'm going, but I like to get there fast. Always on the go. I'm yet to crash and burn. Yet. I've never had any problembeing heard before.
"My voice has gone out all over Australia.
"But for the first time, you will hear it without reacting to what's being said."
The clue follows with an emotional rendition of Wendy Matthews' The Day I Went Away, leaving Jackie O in tears.
Dannii floats a guess of Ricki-Lee, Urzila tosses Susan Boyle into the ring, while Hughesy hopes it could be Britney Spears.
Meanwhile, Jackie thinks it could be Julia Morris.
In an additional clue, Kitten says: "When we won the lottery, it changed our lives forever," before mocking the judges with a bunch of fart noises. Charming!
Clues include: "I'm a team player and a real cleanskin.
"I believe we're all in this world together and we need to work together to make it a better place. That's my goal.
"Life never goes where you think it will.
"I had to choose between my mother and father.
"I went one way first, but then went the other. And back again. Where will I end up?
"Who knows? The captain might. I turned my back on my career for all the right reasons.
"I won't regret the time away but the siren's call was too strong.
I might not be unique, even in my own family, but I will be the only one standing when The Masked Singer winner is announced."
She belts Kygo & Whitney Houston's Higher Love and GOOD LORD, what a voice.
People have previously guessed Katie Noonan, what do we reckon?
Jackie's certain it's Sia due to the Adelaide connection. Hmm.
Singing a spellbinding rendition of Gotye's iconic breakup ballad Somebody That I Used To Know, Wizard's performance came after a collection of head scratching clues.
"My magic was felt from a young age.
"It's in my DNA. But it wasn't recognised by everyone.
"Sometimes I forgot myself. But the power is mine!
"My greatest success is not in the land of my birth. I have always travelled for my growth. I have sacrificed much in my search for wisdom. Nothing of value comes easy.
"I feel the magic in others and take their guidance but eventually, you must go your own way.
"You must learn to soar!"
We… Dunno.
In an additional clue, he says (in a what could be a fake American accent): "I am considered a lucky charm…by a great sporting Aussie champion."
Dannii thinks it could be Zac Efron and DO NOT toy with out hearts like this, Channel 10.
Is anyone as stumped as I am over who on earth Bushranger could be?
Her clue package tonight offers:
"Like a true bushranger, I've got the country in my heart.
"I'm very comfortable with horsepower, like other women before me.
"But I'm never comfortable being just the one thing.
"It's important to always be growing. Roses are my favourite.
"I was, for a while, part of the Kelly gang. Now I'm on my own.
"But you're never on your own when you have family. And over the years I've discovered that ink stains.
"But right now, nothing is getting under my skin."
She busts out Gaga's Poker Face and the panel (particularly Hughesy) are in love. Could this be Kelly Rowland? Surely not…
Jackie throws out a guess of McLeod's Daughters actress Michala Banas.
Meanwhile, Urzila cheekily quips that it could be Nicole Kidman, given the "poo clue".
"You know, she's been through a marriage with Tom Cruise."
Eek.
Over on Twitter, fans think it could be former Australia's Got Talent winner Bonnie Anderson.
Christine Anu just triggered a collection of red faces on The Project, gasping after accidentally dropping the F-bomb to the panel.
When asked whether she'd consider re-releasing her cover of My Island Home, the Goldfish responded: "You say re-release and I've done a f***ing million versions…," before trailing off as she realised her live television faux pas.
"And that's the end of the show!" Carrie Bickmore said with a laugh, with Peter Helliar adding: "Somebody put a mask on her now!"
It was a rather bumpy interview with the star, who answered a couple of questions abruptly during the chat.
While most of us picked Anu from the moment the Goldfish opened her mouth on stage last night, there was one clue even the star herself couldn't explain.
Or rather, didn't want to.
Speaking on The Project, Anu was cagey when Peter Helliar asked why Daniel Radcliffe popped up in her clue package.
"Can I ask you about – two clues I want to know about. A picture of The Karate Kid and Daniel Radcliffe. What were those two clues alluding to?," he asked.
"I can't speak to Daniel Radcliffe, but I can speak to Ralph Macchio, so I was a karate kid when I was a little girl."
"But you have no idea of why Harry Potter was there?," he followed up.
"Can we get together after the program and talk about that?," she responded.
Awkward.
It's nearly go-time and we're a long way from accurate early guesses for tonight's five characters.
Thankfully, there are plenty of clued-in fans out there.
Over on Twitter, some have speculated that Sloth is Katie Noonan:
Others think actress and singer Lucy Durack is lurking behind the Cactus mask:
Meanwhile, one enthusiastic viewer is "16000 per cent" sure Wizard is former X Factor winner Isaiah Firebrace:
As for Kitten and Bushranger, they're as stumped as we are.
Bring on the clue packages.
