The evidence is clear: Katy Perry stole her baby name from Fifi Box.
The pop star and her partner Orlando Bloom yesterday announced the arrival of their daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom.
But the name of the couple’s newborn came as no surprise to Fifi Box and her Fox FM radio co-host, Brendan Fevola (aka Fev), who predicted in May that the singer would name her daughter Daisy.
How did they know?
Back in March when Katy was in Australia for a promotional tour, Fifi and Fev interviewed the singer and took along Fifi’s two daughters, Trixie, 7, and Daisy, 1, to give her a taste of motherhood.

“I think it was a week after she announced she was pregnant,” Fev said on air this morning about their interview with Katy in March. “She saw your baby … and I’ve never seen any person love someone else’s kid as much as she did when you said her name was Daisy.
“It was unbelievable,” Fev said.
The radio team recorded a behind-the-scenes video which shows the moment Katy met Daisy in the hotel foyer.
The first thing Katy said after being introduced to Daisy was, “That’s a great name!”
“When we were away from the microphones, she was really obsessed with Daisy and her name,” Fifi said on radio this morning.
A few months later in May when Katy released a song called Daisies, Fifi predicted on radio: “I have a feeling she’s recorded the song Daisies and maybe she’s going to call her daughter Daisy.”
When the radio hosts found out yesterday that Katy had in fact named her daughter Daisy, the pair were shocked.
“I was like, ‘Oh my god!’” Fev said on radio today. “She copied!”
Katy and Orlando announced the arrival of their daughter yesterday in an unusual manner: Not through their own social media channels but through the charitable organisation UNICEF, of which they are both Goodwill Ambassadors.
“We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter,” the organisation quoted the new parents as saying, alongside a close-up photo of little Daisy’s hand.
