Meghan Markle’s “former” best friend Jessica Mulroney has shared a wedding photo of the Duchess on social media and said it brings her ”pure joy” – despite their reported falling out.
The Canadian mum-of-three, whose Instagram has been turned to private, posted a photo of her son carrying Meghan’s veil, which was taken at her May 2018 wedding.
She captioned the throwback photo: “I see this and pure joy.”
According to the Daily Mail, Jessica had originally posted a different caption: “‘When I feel dark and grey, I see this and it all goes away.”
The post appears to be the celebrity stylist’s attempt at showing the world she has not fallen out with the Duchess of Sussex, despite reports their friendship suffered after Jessica became embroiled in a race row with blogger, Sasha Exeter.
Meghan reportedly felt she could “no longer be associated” with Jessica after the stylist was accused of abusing her white privilege by Sasha in an ugly social media feud.
The argument blew up on Instagram in June when Sasha urged her fans to use their online profiles to promote the Black Lives Matter movement. Jessica reportedly took offence to this post, feeling it was directly aimed at her.

The two women then engaged in a nasty spat, with Sasha accusing Jessica of “threatening” her livelihood, which the stylist denied. Jessica then apologised on Sasha’s post but later sent the influencer a private message reading: “Liable suit, good luck (sic).”
Jessica again apologised for her behaviour amid an outcry as followers branded her a “bully” and a ”racist”, but she was quickly dropped from bridal show I Do, Redo with bosses at Canada’s CTV saying her comments clashed with their “commitment to diversity and equality.”
Jessica also lost her job on ABC’s Good Morning America, along with a number of fashion deals.
Sources claimed Meghan was “mortified and heartbroken” by the allegations and chose to keep her distance from Jessica, who was in her bridal party at the royal wedding in 2018.
However, Jessica has denied falling out with Meghan and responded to claims she’d been “dumped” as ”fake news” when she returned to social media earlier this month following a two month hiatus.
In an emotional message, she wrote: “Happy 10th to my twin babies. My incredible family have had to witness mum in the worst state.
“These two boys have not left my side and gave me the will to live and work hard when everything fell apart. They deserve the best birthday. Only up from here.”
Meghan and Jessica met while Meghan was living in Toronto filming Suits.
