Shocked Hollywood stars, American civil rights leaders and political candidates have remembered actor Chadwick Boseman as an "immense talent" who will leave a legacy in the film industry.
Boseman's death has come as a great shock to friends, colleagues and fans of the actor, who did not publicly reveal he had been treated for colon cancer since 2016.
The 43-year-old has been remembered for his inspirational performance as the titular character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Black Panther, which broke cultural barriers and box office records.
He also portrayed real-life historical figures Jackie Robinson, James Brown and Thurgood Marshall.
