Millie Bobby Brown has confirmed she’s married Jake Bongiovi in the most Gen Z way possible.
The Stranger Things actress, 20, shared photo of herself wearing denim shorts with the word ‘Wifey’ across the bum with her 63 million Instagram followers.
The former child star tied the knot with Jon Bon Jovi’s son Jake, 23.
Bon Jovi confirmed the news during an interview on the BBC, saying that it was a “small family wedding”.
“The bride looked gorgeous, and Jake is happy as can be. Yeah, it’s true,” he said.
The two haven’t released any wedding photos, but Brown has posted her own version, which is iconic.
I guess posting wedding photos would be tragically millennial, so they had to get creative about it.
The pair got engaged in 2023 when she was only 19, and Brown announced the news on Instagram at the time by quoting the Taylor Swift song Lover.
“I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want them all,” she wrote.
Bongiovi made a separate post for his 1.2 million followers and captioned the news with the word “forever”.
Brown’s been famous since childhood thanks to her breakout role on the Netflix smash series Stranger Things.
While Bongiovi hasn’t secured similar notoriety, he is the son of the man who sings Living on a Prayer, so he was also firmly born into the fame game.
The young couple is very over-the-top about their romance, often posting about their relationship online, walking red carpets together, and certainly aren’t afraid to gush about their love.
She recently wrote that she’s “eternally holding his hand” while posting to celebrate his birthday. It is the classic young love vibe.
Meanwhile, Bongiovi has used his words and written on his Instagram that he loves Brown more than “words can describe”.
The pair got engaged very young, so young that Brown was still a teenager, but she revealed to Glamour that she wasn’t always sold on getting married - until Bon Jovi’s offspring changed her mind.
“After meeting Jake and seeing, ‘oh, I don’t have to be this stereotypical wife for him. He doesn’t want me to be that either. He wants me to go and do my thing and live my life, and he will hold my hand in the process of that.’ I was like, ‘oh, I do want this,’” Brown told the publication.

Brown also said Bongiovi helped her love herself, which has only strengthened their young relationship.
“I was like, ‘why do you love me?’ And then he listed all these things that I hated about myself.
“I was like, ‘you see good in those things?’ And he was like, ‘Of course I do’.”
