Jackie ‘O’ Henderson has addressed photos in which she appears to break down in tears while having coffee with a friend.
The Sydney-based radio co-host, 49, was captured by local paparazzi on Thursday sitting in the outside area of a cafe, seemingly getting emotional as she spoke to a female friend.
At one point, Henderson dabbed her eyes with a napkin, before later sharing a hug with the woman.
Speaking on her KIIS FMKyle and Jackie O Show on Friday after the photos had circulated, Henderson was asked by co-host Kyle Sandilands if she was feeling OK.
“It doesn’t look good,” Henderson said.
“I was just having coffee with a girlfriend, and something came up and it was a little bit emotional, and I had a little tiny dab of the eyes.”
Unconvinced, Sandilands said, “A little tiny dab? It’s a two-handed, two-tissue. Look at that photo!”
Clearly unwilling to go into full detail about the private moment, Henderson let out a giggle as she joked, “They [the cafe] had no almonds.”
While Henderson and Sandilands’ hit show, which also broadcasts in Melbourne, is usually filled with their signature X-rated content and endless laughs, the pair do occasionally share emotional moments.
In May, Henderson broke down in tears on-air as she opened up about a difficult time in her personal life last winter.
“I was kind of going through stuff last year that wasn’t excellent,” she said at the time.
The mother-of-one went on to explain how people would visit her beachside Clovelly home and spot whales from the living room, though she would never be present enough to notice. That was, until recently when she finally saw a whale – something she felt was a sign she was on the mend.
“All of last winter — because you can see the beach from my place — every time someone would come over to my house, whether it be personal trainer, a friend, family, they’d always be sitting in the lounge, and then they’d go, ‘Oh my God, a whale!’” she said.

“They’d see a whale jump out. And every single time, we’d look and then I’d be looking in the wrong direction. They go ‘there’ and I’d miss that. It just was this running joke. Everyone but me would see these whales jump out of the ocean.
“Life wasn’t exactly amazing. But I just knew in my mind that the day I finally see that whale jump out of the ocean is the day I know it’s a sign from the universe to go you’re good now.
“I now know that my life is on the right path and I know things are good in my life.”
