A posse of big stars including Aussie A-listers Kylie Minogue and Liam Hemsworth managed to fly under the radar in the audience at Coldplay’s latest stadium concert.
The “random” assortment of celebs, in attendance at Coldplay’s show in Athens, Greece over the weekend, were seemingly brought together by Jonas Brothers singer Joe Jonas.
Hemsworth was in attendance with his girlfriend, model Gabriella Brooks, while Minogue was in the row behind, dancing and singing with actor Luke Evans, and his partner Fran Tomas.
Tomas posted a series of videos from the concert, captioning the clips “Thanks again Joe.”
Fans were surprised to see the unlikely mix of celebs, seemingly blending in to Coldplay crowd in seats that appeared anything but VIP.
“Just in the crowd like no big deal,” one person wrote under Evans’ post.
Another called it “the most random group of people I’ve seen.”
“I never expected this group of friends,” wrote another person, while another said they’d “never be able to focus on the concert” if they were seated near the gang of very famous faces.
While the group may appear random, at least two members have been friends for years: Minogue and Beauty and the Beast star Evans have known each other since at least 2007 when he appeared in one of her TV concert specials, and attended another event together in Athens over the weekend.
“It’s a picture, it’s a cuddle, it’s a memory that I wish I could relive over and over again!!!” he captioned a photo of them together from that event.

And it seems Coldplay’s stadium spectacular was a night to remember for the unlikely celeb posse: model Brooks described the evening as a “new core memory” in a comment on Instagram.
Aussies will get to see for themselves when the group bring their Music of the Spheres tour to Australia in October. The visit will see the band play eight massive stadium shows across Melbourne and Sydney.
It comes after the band left fans on Australia’s east coast disappointed with a Perth-only visit to our shores in November last year.
