Comedian Hamish Blake has been recognised in this year's King's Birthday honours list for his service to the arts as an entertainer and to the community.
The LEGO® Masters Australia host, 42, is one of 737 Australians on this year's list, which celebrates a wide array of people who have made a difference in society.
Ever the entertainer, Blake said of the announcement: "I am of course extremely honoured, and now feel very guilty I didn't even get the King a birthday present."
Governor-General David Hurley congratulated those who were recognised, saying: "Some names are well-known, but the vast majority are not – they are people who work tirelessly and selflessly to make a difference in our community.
"Through today's recognition we shine a light on their efforts, the impact they have and the difference they make. On behalf of all Australians, I thank recipients for their service and congratulate them on their recognition."
Blake is one of Australia's most beloved stars of comedy, television and podcasting. He is a double Gold Logie winner for Most Popular Personality on Australian television and is the inaugural winner of the Bert Newton Award for Most Popular Presenter.

They went on to star in hit seasons of Hamish & Andy's Caravan of Courage and two seasons of True Story with Hamish & Andy and Hamish & Andy's Perfect Holiday.
In addition to radio and TV, they've also held comedic reign with their podcasts, currently hosting the No. 1 podcast in Australia.

Away from politics, former Australian cricket star Glenn McGrath was made an Officer of the Order of Australia for his work in raising awareness of and funding for breast cancer treatment through his McGrath Foundation.
The foundation was established by McGrath and his first wife, Jane, who was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1997, aged 31. She died in 2008.
Three-time AFL premiership winner Bachar Houli also made the honours list for his role in the Islamic community and for promoting multiculturalism, as did comedian Jimmy Rees for his service to the arts as an entertainer, and to the community.
Today's is the last honours list Hurley will oversee, and his replacement, businesswoman Samantha Mostyn, was among the recipients for a wide range of achievements.
