Jennifer Aniston was seen fighting back tears after being asked a question about Friends in heartbreaking interview.
The actress broke down in tears at the mention of the beloved sitcom, just months after the death of her co-star Matthew Perry.
When speaking with actress Quinta Brunson for Variety, the producers pushed her to quiz Aniston about her time on the show, and things quickly spiralled as a result/
“Oh God, don’t make me cry,” Aniston said to Brunson as she become overcome with emotion.
“I won’t... you’re already crying, do you want a minute?” Brunson, who appeared concerned, asked her.
Aniston wiped the tears from her face as she explained that she was OK, alluding to the fact that the mention of the show made her think of her co-star Matthew Perry who died last year.
“I’m OK. It’s a happy tear,” she spluttered. “It’s so strange to even think that it’s 30 years old. I remember the day that it was going to premiere, you know, on television, on NBC.
“Me and Matthew Perry were having lunch somewhere, and we knew Lisa [Kudrow] was getting her hair coloured, so we ran to the hair salon and I snuck up and she was in the sink hair bowl, and I took the nozzle and like just started washing her hair.
“And it definitely flew out of control and that was unfortunate, but the excitement we had, and it feels like yesterday.”
Fans rushed to criticise producers for pushing Aniston to talk about such an emotional topic, with many praising Brunson for how she handled the awkward moment.
“I feel so bad for Jennifer, why would they ask her that question though?” questioned one fan.
“I don’t care about opinions on Jennifer it was really gross to ask her this,” ranted a second annoyed fan.

Others complimented Brunson, saying: “What an absolute advocate Quinta is, she’s such a sweetheart,’ with another adding: “The question was so unnecessary. They clearly just wanted a reaction out of Jen. To hell with them.”
“This is so insensitive. They just wanted a highlight like this of Jen breaking down,” added another fan.
“The question was unnecessary or they could ask it in another way. Damn, they could ask Jen if she wanted to answer first. They’re still humans! Also, good on Quinta for the way she handled it!”
