The Duchess of Cambridge has shown she can sport any look, going from jungle explorer to stunning sophistication in a matter of hours during her trip to Belize with husband Prince William.
Kate cut a relaxed figure when climbing the Central American country’s most spectacular Mayan ruins — the 3000-year-old Caracol, a sprawling ancient archaeological site — alongside the Duke of Cambridge.
Kate dressed down in khaki trousers, which she teamed with a recycled white T-shirt and trainers.
She completed the look with a pair of sunglasses and left her hair down, while tucking the white T-shirt into the khaki trousers, with which she wore a brown belt.
Prince William looked just as relaxed, donning sunglasses and a matching khaki shirt and trousers for the outing.
After climbing to the top of the Caan, a “sky palace” that towers 43m tall and was built by hand, Kate had just one reaction: “Wow!”
After taking in the ancient ruins, Kate then swapped her adventurous look for a floor-length shimmering gown by royal favourite designer The Vampire’s Wife.
She dressed in the $5000 pink gown for an evening reception in celebration of Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
She paired it with silver heeled sandals and a Mayan embroidered clutch bag, while wearing gold disc diamante drop earrings.
The Vampire’s Wife, which was launched by former model Suzie Cave in 2014, is famed for pretty prairie dresses infused with a dose of gothic glam — and are loved by Kate.
