Prince William and Kate Middleton share Christmas card with George, Charlotte and Louis - NEWS.com.au

Prince William and Kate have released their highly anticipated Christmas card for 2021 taken during a recent trip overseas.

Kate Middleton and Prince William’s highly anticipated Christmas card for 2021 has officially been unveiled.

The Sun reports the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge can be seen beaming in the annual snap alongside their three adorable children Prince George, eight, Princess Charlotte, six and Prince Louis, three.

The sweet Christmas card features the royals in Jordan this year and will be sent out to family, friends and charity pals by way of tradition.

Sharing the image on Twitter this afternoon, Kate and Wills wrote: “Delighted to share a new image of the family, which features on this year’s Christmas card.”

In the photo, the Cambridges can be seen basking in the sunshine in front of a backdrop of Red Rock.

George and Charlotte are pictured sitting on individual red chairs while little Louis sits crossed legged on a rug below.

Their proud parents feature happily behind them, with Wills poised on a small golden seat as Kate rests her hand lovingly on his knee.

For last year’s card, Kate, Wills, George, Charlotte and Louis gathered on a bale of hay at the family’s Norfolk home, Anmer Hall.

The year before that, Kate cuddled up to William as Louis, Charlotte and George played on a vintage motorbike.

It comes after Kate hosted a special Christmas carol concert for unsung Covid heroes earlier this week.

Kate stunned in a mid-length scarlet coat and earrings borrowed from the Queen for the prerecorded event at Westminster Abbey, set to be broadcast on ITV on Christmas Eve at 7.30pm.

It’s believed the Cambridges will join the Queen at her home in Windsor Castle for festivities this year with Her Majesty reportedly set to “have her family round for a Christmas gathering”.

The Queen has been given the go-ahead by doctors to throw her annual private pre-festive season party.

Extended family members will all be given an invite to the party – which hasn’t been held since 2019.

After the pre-festive season party, the Queen is set to move her court to Sandringham Estate in Norfolk for Christmas.

But before she leaves, she will record her annual Christmas message to be broadcast on December 25 for the nation to watch.

It will be her first since the death of her beloved Prince Philip – who died in April at the age of 99.
