SAS Australia: First look at season two - PerthNow

Brynne Edelsten has plenty to prove as she tackles the gruelling selection course on the upcoming SAS Australia series.

The former wife of the late businessman Geoffrey Edelsten, wants the public to know she is anything but a “gold digger” during the first look at the adrenaline inducing clip for the reality show on Seven.

“I am more than just Geoffrey Edelsten’s ex wife,” Edelsten says in a voice over, while the clip shows the socialite hanging precariously from a low-flyer chopper before she falls.

“I am not a gold digger, I can get through anything.”

Recruits will be put through their paces from returning ex-special forces soldiers, Ant Middleton, Mark “Billy” Billingham, Jason “Foxy” Fox and Ollie Ollerton.

“To Australia, you’re a celebrity. I don’t care,” Middleton states in the clip.

“No matter how hard you’ve ever pushed, no matter how much fear you have faced, that’s nothing. Because you’re going to where you’ve ever been before.. to your breaking point.”

Eighteen celebrities will take on the physically brutal and psychologically testing selection course this year including former tennis champion Alicia Molik and controversial NRL star Sam Burgess.

Burgess is seen taking one last gasp for breath as he sits in a vehicle fast-filling with water, before being seen interrogated in a room with DS Anthony Middleton.

“I lost my career, my kids, my marriage - there was a police investigation into me. I started drinking, doing drugs — i lost it all,” he confesses.
