Kanye West blasted by fans for charging $67 for chicken tenders at album launch party - NEWS.com.au

Kanye West was blasted by fans for charging $50 USD for chicken fingers and $65 for a snack basket during the Donda listening party.

The rapper, 44, previewed his new album in Atlanta last night but some fans were left gobsmacked by the pricey refreshments on offer.

Kanye‘s fan were baffled by the “overpriced” snacks which were on sale during the event.

One bewildered Twitter user shared a snap of the food board with the costs, writing: “Come on Kanye West.”

A flurry of followers were equally unimpressed by the expensive nibbles and took to social media to share their confusion.

Another posted: “This dude has lost his damn mind.”

A third commented: “$50 for chicken tenders??!! … F*** THAT!!!”

One fan cheekily shared: “When a Kardashian leaves you, you have to supplement your income with sweet chicken tenders $$$.”

The prices, translated to Australian dollars, come in around $67 for the tenders and $88 for the snack basket.

Kanye‘s fans were surprised when Kim Kardashian made an appearance at the release party as she continues to support her ex following their divorce.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was joined by all four of the former couple’s children for the star-studded event to celebrate his highly-anticipated 10th studio album.

A video shot from a fan at the event showed Kim, 40, rocking a skin-tight head-to-toe red body suit.

She wore matching bedazzled stilettos and dark futuristic sunglasses to complete the sexy ensemble.

The pair’s four kids – North, eight, Saint, five, Chicago, three, and Psalm, two, – were brought in by handlers as Kim strutted into the venue.

She gave fans a sneak peak on the way to the venue by sharing a snap of her bedazzled red heel.

The hit maker returned to Instagram just days before his Donda album release.

Rumours immediately began swirling over whether the album will diss Kanye's ex, Kim.

Kanye originally planned to drop his album Donda, named for his late mother, last July, but it was never released. However, he confirmed the album will now be released on July 24.

He has also dropped a new music video featuring controversial athlete Sha‘Carri Richardson.
