Marilyn Manson has turned himself in and was released on bail for assault charges stemming from a 2019 incident with a videographer in Gilford, New Hampshire.
On Friday, the 52-year-old 'Beautiful People' rocker — whose real name is Brian Hugh Warner — turned himself in to the Hollywood division of Los Angeles Police Department after reaching an agreement with Gilford Police Department in New Hampshire regarding "two Class A misdemeanour simple assault charges," according to police.

Gilford Police Chief, Tony Bean Burpee, said in a statement that the singer was later released on bail with conditions.
Manson faces two misdemeanour counts for allegedly assaulting a videographer who was hired to record his concert at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford.
Burpee also stated that the department is "pleased with Mr. Warner's decision to finally address the arrest warrant that has been outstanding since 2019."
Last month, the Gilford Police Department had reached an agreement with the LAPD and Manson's lawyer, Howard King, to have the rockstar turn himself in ahead of arraignment at a 4th Circuit Court, District Division in Laconia, New Hampshire in August.
The charges carry a possible jail sentence of less than one year and a fine of US$2000 (approx. $2600) or less, according to Burpee.

The alleged assaults were not sexual in nature and are unrelated to a string of sexual abuse allegations against Manson from more than a dozen women.
In May, Game of Thrones actor Esmé Bianco sued Manson for sexual, physical and emotional abuse. Manson's lawyer called the allegations "provably false."
In February, actress Evan Rachel Wood alleged that Marilyn Manson "horrifically abused" her for years when they were in a relationship. The 33-year-old Westwood actress dated Manson when she was 19 and he was 39.
"The name of my abuser is Brian Warner, also known to the world as Marilyn Manson," she shared in an Instagram post and in a statement to Vanity Fair. "He started grooming me when I was a teenager and horrifically abused me for years."
"I was brainwashed and manipulated into submission. I am done living in fear of retaliation, slander, or blackmail," the statement continued." I am here to expose this dangerous man and call out the many industries that have enabled him, before he ruins any more lives. I stand with the many victims who will no longer be silent."
The singer responded to Wood and the other women's allegations in a statement shared via social media.
"Obviously, my life and my art have long been magnets for controversy, but these recent claims about me are horrible distortions of reality. My intimate relationships have always been entirely consensual with like-minded partners. Regardless of how — and why — others are now choosing to misrepresent the past, that is the truth," he wrote.
