Zac Efron has recently made Byron Bay his new home, and he’s been settling in quite nicely in recent weeks.
Last Tuesday, the superstar flew into Ballina airport on a Jetstar flight, with rumoured girlfriend Vanessa Valladares by his side, after their ski trip to Thredbo.
The pair were dressed casually with surgical masks, as they disembarked the aircraft with Efron carrying Vanessa’s bags for her.
The Hollywood actor reportedly met Vanessa back in July, when she was waitressing in Byron Bay.
He was first spotted in Byron in that same month, confirming the rumours about his presence in the trendy beach town.
Social media influencer Tarsha Whitmore was the first one to spot him in the town.
“Don’t mean to alarm anyone but Zac Efron was literally eating at the same café as me when this was taken,” she wrote at the time.
Around the same time, he was pictured giving Vanessa a hug while at the Byron Bay general store café.
The Daily Mail reports that she has since quit her job and has been staying with Efron at Belongil Beach.

The publication also revealed that Efron cancelled one of his scheduled flights back to Los Angeles last month.
“He was only planning to fly home if he had to,” a source revealed. “He didn’t really want to go back to America.”
It was said that the star only bought the ticket in case his application for a visa extension was denied by the Department of Home Affairs, however it has been extended from three to 12 months.

Efron landed in Australia right before international borders closed because of the coronavirus pandemic.
When attending the Australian premiere of his film The Lucky One in 2012, he admitted that it was “easy” for him to keep a low profile in Australia.
“What I love about Australia, which is what we don’t have in California, is there are so many wide-open beaches where no one is at.
It is unknown how long the star plans on residing in Byron Bay, but we can only imagine that he will be spending time with the Hemsworth brothers, Chris and Liam, while in town.
