Kazakhstan's most famous journalist is back.
Sacha Baron Cohen's satirical mockumentary about a clueless foreigner's travels in the United States will get a sequel in October, according to US media reports.
Here's what you need to know.
Remind me about the first Borat film
It was really popular.
Officially titled Borat! Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, it earned more than $200 million worldwide and won a Golden Globe.
It was also controversial.
A lot of people who appeared in the film later sued Cohen and his team, saying he misled them and harmed their reputations.
Kazakhstan itself had a complicated reaction.
At first the government was angry and the film was not released there … until it realised the film was a tourism drawcard, and that Cohen's real targets were actually clueless Americans.
What do we know about this new one?
It is called Borat: Gift of Pornographic Monkey to Vice Premiere Mikhael Pence to Make Benefit Recently Diminished Nation of Kazakhstan.
Or so it seems from a now-deleted filing with the Writers Guild of America.
According to Deadline, it was shot quickly and cheaply in the US during the pandemic lockdown.
Cohen was spotted shooting as Borat in LA in August:

In June, the comedian crashed a far-right rally and started a conspiracy theory-laden singalong.

We don't know if that was a stunt for the film.
But we do know some locals were not happy and that on two filming days for the new Borat, Cohen expected backlash to the extent he reportedly wore a bulletproof vest.
So that title suggests Mike Pence might be a target…
Yes. But that's not all.
The coronavirus pandemic might unsurprisingly be a plotline, according to The Film Stage.
So too the relationship between President Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein, the disgraced former financier and alleged paedophile.
And in July, Trump's former lawyer Rudy Giuliani said he called the police on Cohen when the comedian, wearing a pink bikini, interrupted what Giuliani thought was a serious interview.
Huh. Could the movie affect the election outcome?
It's not clear — mainly because it hasn't been shown outside of a few test screenings.
But Cohen does have form when it comes to derailing political careers.
In 2018, a state representative in Georgia resigned after his less-than-flattering appearance in Cohen's mockumentary series Who Is America?

That series also showed Cohen could fool high-profile targets like former vice president Dick Cheney, whom he persuaded to sign a "waterboard kit".
You can read more here about the kinds of comedy Cohen used in that series.
When can I see the new Borat film?
Both Variety and Deadline are reporting the movie will drop on Amazon Prime Video in October, just before the election.
We've contacted the streaming giant's Australian rep for comment about that.
If that's the case, well, that'll be an October surprise like no other.
