Harry and Meghan sacked Archie's first nanny after just two days following an "incident during the night", according to a new book.
In Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family, out now, book authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand talk about the incident.
They say the new parents were forced to fire their first nanny because they found her to be "unprofessional and irresponsible".
Details of the incident which led them to draw this conclusion after just two days on duty with baby Archie are not revealed.
The book explains: "They decided to hire a night nurse to establish a sleep schedule and be an extra pair of helping hands. But their time with the couple was brief.
"Meghan and Harry were forced to let the nurse go in the middle of her second night for being unprofessional and irresponsible."
Archie's second nanny also left her job working with the couple for reasons unknown, as did a number of other staff members.

Tabloids in the UK immediately blamed 'difficult' Meghan for staff turnover.
What was quickly made clear was that Harry and Meghan were determined to steer their own ship, and weren't interested in being told what to do.
When the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced they were expecting their first child, royal fans felt ecstatic.
It was well-known that Prince Harry wanted a family of his own.
Watching his closeness with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their children Prince George, seven, Princess Charlotte, five and Prince Louis, two, it was easy to see amazing a father the doting uncle would be.
From the beginning, Harry and Meghan did things their way when it came to the exciting news, keeping the pregnancy under wraps for as long as they could, to refusing to confirm details of the location of their child's birth, to baptising him in private.
There was speculation the couple wouldn't hire a nanny to help raise Archie but that was quickly quashed with the hiring of a first, a second and then a third nanny to lend a hand.
Now that the couple has left the UK, it isn't known if they have a nanny working for them.
They are now based in LA in the US near Meghan's mother Doria Ragland who is sure to be keen to help care for her grandson, although continuing coronavirus restrictions could be making this difficult.
