Former Sunrise host Sam Armytage has splashed her cash on a new Sydney apartment to the tune of around $1.5 million.
The well-known former co-host of Sunrise bought a flat in a complex in Sydney’s east, according to The Daily Telegraph.
The 111sq m two-bedroom apartment has a balcony and access to an outdoor pool.
Armytage, 44, has not publicly commented on the purchase.
Armytage and her husband, Richard Lavender, have been living at their property in the NSW Southern Highlands where the couple married on New Year’s Eve.
Armytage quit as co-host of Sunrise in March after eight years, saying she wanted to “enjoy a bit of slow living and spend some time with my precious family and husband and Banjo (her dog)”.
Her decision followed the tragic death of her mother last year and her marriage to Lavender.

Ms Armytage previously lived in Sydney’s eastern suburbs but sold her North Bondi property last July for $3.15 million, after just two weeks on the market.
Around the same time she sold a property she owned in NSW’s Southern Highlands.
An off-market buyer bought her Burrawang cottage for around the $3.1m mark, a big jump on the $2.2m purchase price she paid three years prior.
Her decision to buy a property a city property has sparked speculation she may be looking to return to work in Sydney media.
In March, she launched her podcast for Stellar magazine, Something To Talk About with Samantha Armytage.
“I’m loving this long-form journalism,” she told Stellar the time.
“There’s a real freedom to it. It’s really just like having a chat with a mate.”
