After a successful yet scandalous first week on The Block, a scathing master bathroom critique has seen former Love Island stars Luke and Josh Packham topple down the leaderboard in week two.
Copping brutal feedback over their “atrocious” styling, “weird” ceiling decision, and outdated design, the twins’ $25,356 bathroom received a dismal 20.5 points.
The brothers said they were “hurt and frustrated” by the harsh critique, but, true to form for the fiery pair, were quick to push back with a rebuttal.

The enormous bathroom was half tiled on two sides, with a feature Venetian plastered wall and ceiling, a grey colour palette and bizarre styling featuring an upside-down book and cheeseboard displayed over the bathtub.
On walking in to the space, Darren noted the “masculine, moody” style, but slammed the plastering, calling it a “waste of money”.
“It’s a bit of a weird choice,” he said.
“It just feels to me incredibly dated,” added Neale.
“I never wanna see this grey, grey, grey palette again in a bathroom,” Neale said, explaining that he’d seen it all before “a long time ago”.
“Take it on the chin, your styling’s atrocious,” Shaynna chimed in, pointing out the block of cheese on the timber bath caddy.

“We disagree, we think it’s ultra modern and everyone that’s seen the bathroom, all of our tradies have liked it,” Josh asserted during the judgment.
“They’re wrong,” Luke added, with the two joking that it was simply “their turn” to cop the vicious feedback after Mitch and Mark’s rocky start to the competition last week.
After fuming and flatly disagreeing with the raft of sledges, the twins were left red-faced when Neale, Shaynna and Darren popped out from behind Scotty’s Beach Bar for a surprise Q&A with the contestants.
On coming face-to-face, Luke asked the trio to elaborate on their criticism.
“That’s a really expensive finish, that’s not where you want to put your money,” Darren said of the Venetian plastering.
“You’re better off having tiled all the walls,” he said.
Neale weighed in that he felt “disappointed” by their room, explaining that it was “way too grey”.
“They say judging is not personal, but when you’re living here 24/7 it feels personal and it hurts,” Josh conceded.
“It’s not nice to cop it,” Luke said.
“We’re upset and frustrated and hurt by the comments, but we will push on, we’ll make some adjustments, but it’s going to have the same theme throughout the home and that’s that.”
The reality twins have made a splash already this season, having angered viewers and fellow contestants for disappearing off site for a night at the pub, returning close to 10am the next day only to score the second-best room of the week.
Many fans were furious the two weren’t penalised for the move – given they were breaking one of the ‘Block Bible’ rules that contestants must sleep on site.
The two also clashed with The Block’s award-winning architect in week one, refusing to heed his advice on swapping their garage slab to add two extra bedrooms.
Meanwhile, after placing last in week one, Mark and Mitch won master bathroom week with 28 points. Ronnie and Georgia followed with 26.5, Tanya and Vito on 24.5, and Kirsty and Jessie with 24.
The teams will tackle their master bedrooms next.
The Block continues from 7.30pm Monday on Channel 9
