One Survivor contestant just broke all the rules of tribal council, leaving his tribemates stunned with this savage dig.

Australian Survivor contestant George delivered one of this season’s most surprising sledges during Tuesday night’s tribal council, voting for ally-turned-rival Emmett – all while slagging him off so loudly he and the other contestants could hear every word.
Survivor contestants traditionally head to the voting booth away from tribal council to cast their vote in private, whispering to the camera so their tribemates won’t hear.
Emmett did just that, casting his vote for George and softly delivering his message to the camera out of earshot from the others: “George, we had an alliance, and you voted off my friend. So I had to make some new friends – and hopefully tonight I can get rid of you,” he whispered.

Not so George, who’d just clashed heatedly with Emmett throughout tribal council.
Writing Emmett’s name on his parchment, George held his vote up to the camera.
“DO YOU KNOW WHAT, EMMETT?” he began, his booming voice prompting an immediate reaction from those sat at tribal council just metres away.
“IF MY ONLY TALENT IN LIFE WAS STANDING THERE AND LOOKING PRETTY, I’D BE BITTER AS WELL. LUCKY I’M NOT!”

With that, he returned to tribal council and took his place back among his stunned tribemates.
It’s the sort of bold, slightly insane Survivor move that works if you’re absolutely sure your target is being voted out – and luckily for George, the votes fell against Emmett. He received four votes to George’s three – and made a point of not hugging a single member of the tribe goodbye (Dani in particular looked quite shocked by the snub).
Speaking to the cameras after his defeat, Emmett said he wanted to go down in Survivor history as “one of the greatest plant-based Superman challenge beasts ever.”
