She waitressed at Byron’s General Store cafe. In fact, this is where she met Efron. When he was first rumoured to be in Australia, some of the very first photos we saw of him were taken at this cafe. Soon after, he was photographed hugging her in the same location.
SHE IS A MODEL
The former waitress – former, as she gave up her hospitality gig to spend more time with the A-lister – has a pretty cool modelling career. She has worked for Australian labels like Love St, Of The Sun, Spell and RVCA.

Like Efron, she seems to love exploring beautiful locations that have rich history and culture. Some of her Instagram posts are tagged in places like Jaipur and Indonesia. She often expresses her love and respect for the locals in those countries.

MEETING ZAC WAS A COVID TWIST OF FATE
Her love of travelling was meant to send her to Africa this year. However, with coronavirus getting in the way of everybody’s travel plans, she stayed in Byron Bay … which led her to meet the actor.

Since meeting Zac, Vanessa has reportedly given up her cafe job and has been staying with him at Belongil Beach. They have gone on a ski trip together to Thredbo, and have even packed on the PDA in public.
Yesterday, they were spotted holding hands while strolling around the beach town to grab lunch.
Efron was scheduled to fly back to Los Angeles this month, but cancelled his flights when the Department of Home Affairs extended his tourist visa from three to 12 months.
It’s possible that his blossoming romance with this everyday Aussie girl could be the reason why.
