Billionaire chicken heiress Jess Ingham marries Roger Zraika in Sydney's wild weather - Daily Mail

EXCLUSIVE: Billionaire chicken heiress Jess Ingham marries long-term partner Roger Zraika in Sydney's horrendous downpour with the bride and guests left dashing for cover as wild weather lashes the wedding

Jess Ingham and Roger Zraika were married in Sydney on Saturday, in some very fortunate weather.

As NSW faced record-breaking storms, the newlyweds were left haphazardly racing through the downpour.

The billionaire chicken heiress made a dash inside the Establishment Hotel for the reception following their wedding at The Mint Sydney.

Jess stepped out of a white limousine in her flowing wedding dress, holding it up to desperately try and shield it from the floods of water swooshing on the ground.

A number of helpers held up white umbrellas overhead to create a canopy, with Jess dashing inside trying to avoid being drenched.

While she held her dress between her legs, the umbrellas protected her hair and makeup from being ruined.

A number of guests also rushed inside, some huddled under umbrellas and others making a run for it.

Bridesmaids gathered together under a single umbrella in groups, while others raced through the rain or used coats as makeshift shields.

Some of the guests took it all in their stride, with a number of well-dressed women smiling widely as they strode inside the venue, amused by the wet conditions.

The brunette looked stunning, her hair, which was ironed straight, was still in excellent condition and she didn't seem too fussed by the drama.

She held the silk frock up over one hand, to avoid the train dragging across the floor.

Skipping traditional wedding shoes, or perhaps changing for her reception, Jess opted for a pair of towering black stilettos.

For makeup, she had on a pair of bold false lashes and appeared to have chosen a natural palette with a nude lipstick.

Major flood warnings were issued across the state on Saturday, including for major Sydney rivers, while thousands of residents south of the city were warned to prepare to leave their homes.

The heiress and her long-term partner Roger were engaged in June last year, during a lavish party at Bambini Trust in Sydney.

Jess announced the news via her Instagram, following Roger getting on bended knee to propose.

Roger got down in front of a 'marry me' sign along with a room full of love heart balloons, with Jess calling it a dream come true.

'Opening the door to an incredible dream come true! Having you standing there waiting for not just me but my most precious little person!' she wrote.

The couple went on to celebrate at swanky restaurant, Bambini Trust, in Sydney.

Jess and Roger - along with their high-profile guests, including Roxy Jacenko - enjoyed an elegant sit down dinner.

PR queen Roxy however apparently cut ties with Jess late last year.

The Sydney socialites, who once considered themselves 'sisters', are believed to have recently fallen out and have even unfollowed each other on Instagram.

The two women apparently haven't spoken to each other since November, The Sydney Morning Herald claimed.

The pair, who are said to have met over a decade ago at Double Bay's Cosmopolitan Shoes boutique, allegedly started to grow apart when media outlets began writing about Jess' personal life.

Roxy, who 'loves being the brightest star', is said to have become jealous of the coverage.

An insider claimed Jess had been fiercely loyal to the publicist until just a few weeks ago - even standing by Roxy when her husband, former investment banker Oliver Curtis, was jailed for insider trading in 2016.

While Jess refused to comment on the state of their friendship, she did confirm to the publication she was no longer in business with Roxy.

Roxy declined to get into the specifics of her falling out with Jess when approached for comment by Daily Mail Australia at the time.
