Former Melbourne architect Bianca Censori has effortlessly leapt to the top of the global celebrity rankings after “marrying” unfathomable rapper Kanye West.
A complete absence of any confirmation from the supposed newlyweds of the supposed ceremony was no inhibitor for the global media spreading the story all over the internet based on a solitary report from the sometimes reliable US gossip site TMZ.
West, who now goes by the name Ye, was spotted wearing a ring on his wedding finger in Beverly Hills this week, the publication said, adding that the couple had “some sort of wedding ceremony” but that it couldn’t find any marriage certificate.
It did, however, have a paparazzi shot of the pair lunching at the Waldorf Astoria in New York last week.
Little is known about Censori, who is head of architecture at Yeezy, the rapper’s brand, according to LinkedIn.
She attended Carey Baptist Grammar school and studied at the University of Melbourne before working as a student architect at Collingwood-based DP_Toscano Architects, the site said.
A biography from Melbourne Design Week said Censori was based in Los Angeles. “Her work engages with philosophical, aesthetic, and cultural references: these tropes generate contextual frameworks in which she designs buildings and objects,” it said.
Censori participated in the Design Week exhibition Vital Pleasures: “A group exhibition of physical, digital, and paper design works from a diverse range of furniture designers from Australia and the USA. The exhibition offers a platform for designers to question what it means to design and create in a world of uncertain futures. ”
But the world’s media was more interested in several glamorous social media and pap shots of the 27-year-old brunette, who bears a resemblance to West’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
West, 45, finalised his divorce with Kim Kardashian in November last year, according to a report in PEOPLE.
The Daily Mail has reported West and Censori honeymooned in a “posh resort”, Amangiri, in Utah last week.
Last month, West released a song titled Censori Overload, an apparent play on his new wife’s name.
His divorce from the Kardashian family and brand has not dulled the media’s fascination with him.
In December, a facemask-wearing West appeared on InfoWars, notorious conspiracy-theorist Alex Jones’s webshow.
“I see good things about Hitler,” he told the audience.
“I love Jewish people but I also love Nazis.”
“Oh man,” Jones said, according to a report by Israeli newspaper Haaretz “Well, I have to disagree with that.”
In November Jones was ordered to pay $US1.5 billion to the families of the victims of the 2012 Sandy Hook elementary school mass shooting after spending years falsely claiming they were actors who staged the shooting.
West, meanwhile, was suspended from Twitter in December for posting an image of a swastika. Instagram had already blocked the rapper after he suggested the artist Diddy was being controlled by Jewish people.
