Thomas Markle Jr is officially set to star in Big Brother VIP, with Channel 7 revealing their line-up of celebs for the all-stars reality series.
And the half-brother of Meghan Markle broke onto Aussie screens with a bang, appearing in a 90-second teaser for the show dubbing himself “the biggest brother of them all”.
“I told Prince Harry, I think she’s going to ruin your life. She’s very shallow,” Thomas adds in the brief clip.
The Duchess of Sussex, who didn’t invite Thomas to her wedding in 2018 and hadn’t seen him for seven years, has had a fraught relationship with her family since joining the British royal family, with her father, Thomas Markle, half-sister Samantha Grant and half-brother making repeated attacks toward her in the media.

Addressing her fractured relationship with her family in an interview with Oprah Winfrey in March, Meghan distanced herself from the Markles.
“I don’t feel comfortable talking about people that I really don’t know. I grew up as an only child, which everyone who grew up around me knows, and I wished I had siblings. I would have loved to have had siblings,” Meghan said.
“I mean, the last time I saw (Samantha) must have been at least 18, 19 years ago. And before that, ten years before that.”

When asked about her estrangement from her dad, whom she no longer has a relationship with after he staged photos for the media ahead of her 2018 wedding, Meghan said she felt betrayed.
“I said, ‘I just need you to tell me, if you tell me the truth, we can help,’” she shared during the interview. “And he wasn’t able to do that, and that for me has really resonated, especially now as a mother.”
She did give praise to her mother, Doria Ragland, with whom she remains extremely close with.
“ (Doria) remained in silent dignity for four years watching me go through this,” Meghan said.
