Police swarmed Marilyn Manson’s Los Angles home on Wednesday to reportedly conduct a welfare check on him — just days after ex Evan Rachel Wood accused the singer of “horrific abuse.”
Los Angeles Police officers were called to Manson’s house just after 6pm on Wednesday night due to reports of a “disturbing incident,” The Sun revealed earlier.
According to TMZ, officers arrived at the scene shortly after a worried friend called “concerned for his wellbeing.”
The outlet said a friend of the entertainer feared “something happened to him” — after they did not hear from Manson for hours.
An eyewitness told The Sun that police knocked on the 52-year-old rocker’s door — but no one answered.

Law enforcement left, but went back to Manson’s home two hours later at around 8pm and attempted to speak to someone at the residence — but once again no one answered.
Exclusive footage obtained by The Sun shows LAPD cops entering Manson’s property on their second visit.
The police eventually left after an officer was able to get in touch with the star’s representative — who assured them he is fine and simply “didn’t want to come out,” TMZ reported.
In addition to a heavy police presence on the ground, a LAPD helicopter also circled the house throughout the night while shining a spotlight on the property.
A representative for Manson did not immediately respond to The Sun’s request for comment.
The incident occurred just days after Westworld actress Wood shared a social media post Monday that named Manson — born Brian Hugh Warner — as her alleged abuser for the very first time.
She wrote in an Instagram post: “The name of my abuser is Brian Warner, also known to the world as Marilyn Manson. He started grooming me when I was a teenager and horrifically abused me for years.
“I was brainwashed and manipulated into submission. I am done living in fear of retaliation, slander, or blackmail.
“I am here to expose this dangerous man and call out the many industries that have enabled him, before he ruins any more lives. I stand with the many victims who will no longer be silent.”
Seven other women came forward with claims against the heavy metal shock rocker.
Former porn star Jenna Jameson claimed Manson bit her during sex and fantasised about burning her alive when they had a fling in 1997.
Model Ashley Lindsay Morgan said Manson subjected her to abuse including sleep deprivation.

Sarah McNeilly, another model, says she was “abused, terrorised and scarred” by a man “posing as the perfect boyfriend” — even describing his chilly home as “the meat locker.”
She added: “I want to see Brian held accountable for his evil.”
However, Manson has denied the allegations in a statement on Instagram.
He wrote: “Obviously, my art and my life have long been magnets for controversy, but these recent claims about me are horrible distortions of reality.
“My intimate relationships have always been entirely consensual with like-minded partners. Regardless of how — and why — others are now choosing to misrepresent the past, that is the truth.”
Manson’s ex-wife Dita Von Teese spoke about the allegations, stating that her “personal experience” with Manson, 52, was different.
The former couple dated for six years before they tied the knot in 2005. Von Teese ultimately filed for divorce one year later.
“I have been processing the news that broke Monday regarding Marilyn Manson,” she began, noting her gratitude for those that have expressed concerns for her “wellbeing”.
“Please know that details made public do not match my personal experience during our 7 years as a couple,” the performer explained. “Had they, I would not have married him in December 2005.”
She went on to explain that after a year of marriage, she left the relationship “due to infidelity and drug use”.
His ex-girlfriend Rose McGowan has also spoken out about the abuse allegations against him, saying she was “proud” of Wood and other women who had come forward. “When he was with me, he was not like that,” she said. “But that has no bearing on whether he was like that with others, before or after. It takes time to come forward and, again, I am proud – proud of these women and anybody who stands against an abuser.”
In addition to the allegations, Manson’s past words have come back to haunt him as he detailed alarming urges to “kill” in his 1998 autobiography, The Long Hard Road Out of Hell.
The novel revealed he confessed to almost killing a woman during a bondage stunt.
Another excerpt from the book described how he bragged about plotting to murder his ex-lover by setting her on fire and only abandoned the plan when a witness spotted him on the scene.
