The 78th Golden Globe awards will kick off the 2021 awards season on Monday, March 1, with titles like Mank and The Crown, and streaming platform Netflix dominating the nominations.
Not much has been said about exactly what the Globes' first virtual ceremony will entail, but there are a few things we do know.
Here's your shortcut guide.
When and where to watch
E! will host a red carpet show on Monday, March 1, from 10:00am AEDT.
The awards ceremony will be shown on FOX ARENA live from 12:00pm AEDT.
If you can't tune into the broadcast, follow us here on our ABC News live blog.
Who is hosting?
Veteran duo Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will host the Globes for the fourth time since 2013, only this time around they won't be sharing a stage.
Instead they'll host from opposite sides of the US — Fey from the Rainbow Room in New York City, and Poehler from the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.
They'll have a tough act to follow in Ricky Gervais, who shook things up last year when he let rip on jokes about Jeffrey Epstein, Prince Andrew, Felicity Huffman and Apple … with CEO Tim Cook in the crowd.
LoadingGervais described the crowd reaction of boos, shocked faces and stifled laughter as the "best ever".

Controversial nominations include...
LoadingMinari's inclusion in the best foreign language movie category raised eyebrows, mainly because it's an American-made film about a Korean family, set in America.
The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) rules dictate a film's dialogue must be at least 50 per cent in English to compete in the best picture category, and because Minari is not, it was relegated to the foreign language category.
The situation left many questioning the HFPA's rules, including Lulu Wang, director of The Farewell, a film that was treated similarly in 2020:
LoadingMusic, a directorial debut of Australian singer and producer Sia, was nominated for best musical or comedy film.
The film was criticised for casting neurotypical actor Maddie Ziegler as a nonverbal autistic girl.
LoadingThe New York Post called it "unwatchable and offensive", while Time's review called it a "sensory-overloading musical film" and also "bad art".
While Sia defended the film, saying she tried to cast an actor on the autistic spectrum but they found the film too distressing, she later admitted her ultimate casting choice was ableist.
Emily in Paris was also a controversial nomination for best musical or comedy TV series, mainly because it took a spot many felt should have gone to Michaela Coel's I May Destroy You, which was completely snubbed by the HFPA.
Emily Copaken, a writer on Emily in Paris, even wrote an op-ed in The Guardian saying Coel's series deserved the nomination.
What are some names to look for on the day?
Twelve-year-old Helena Zengel, who stars alongside Tom Hanks in Netflix's News of the World, and is up for best supporting actress in a motion picture.
While her famous co-star didn't manage to nab a nomination, Helena could become one of the youngest to ever win a Golden Globe.
Fun Fact: the youngest Globes winner was Ricky Schroder, who at nine years old won the award for the now-defunct New Star of the Year award in 1980.
Another name to watch is Borat star Maria Bakalova, who is nominated for best actress in a motion picture musical or comedy.
Bakalova is the first Bulgarian to be nominated for a Globe, so a win for her will be a notable moment.
Chadwick Boseman could receive a posthumous Globe for best actor in a motion picture drama for his role in M Rainey's Black Bottom.
Boseman died in August 2020 from colon cancer. If he wins the award he'll be the first person to posthumously win a Globe since Heath Ledger in 2009 for his haunting performance as the Joker in The Dark Knight.
